J-S G.: At first I was a little worried about the construction of the adjutment mecanism that looks a little flimsy. But I've been using everyday for 2 weeks and I got to say its more sturdy than it looks. More interesting is the thin desing makes it easy to slip into a tool pouch and can be use to tight a counter nut.

Overall a great tool, I recommend it and would buy again.

Gregory B. Pack: Ok, it’s a Spanish made channelock and of decent quality. However, just a heads up this guy seems WAY smaller than the six inch model. This might be a good size if you’re a gram weenie or bicyclist that needs nothing bigger than about a 1/2 capacity. But If you have room for the six inch in your kit it would be much more versatile. I’m going to keep it and pair it with a bit driving multitool and the 125mm knipex cobra for a minimalist tool kit.

Kindle Customer: This seems to be well made. Not a lot of play in the jaws. It feels precise. Time will tell - but out of the box this looks like it was a good buy

Amazon Customer: little bit expensive but worth the money.

Chuck: A tad expensive but a very well made small (4") adjustable wrench for those situations where you have limited access. Made to a high standard in Spain. Smooth action in adjusting the jaws with little play and no binding. Good grip on thumb wheel. Very well machined from a forging with a nice satin chrome finish. Recommended if you don't mind paying extra for quality. A jewel in your tool box.

Jeff: I am impressed by this 6" ChannelLock wrench. The jaws close perfectly even and the sides of the jaws are perfectly matched in machining. The adjusting screw moves easily and smoothly and only a minuscule amount of slack. Feels very precise in the adjustments. Slightly better quality than a USA made Craftsman Professional 6" adjustable from 15 years ago. The handle has a nice wide flange along the edges to distribute the pressure on the hand. What impressed me as much as the great fit and machining is how wide they open while still being compact--about 1"/25mm. All surfaces are nicely smooth. And the entire wrench is more than beefy enough to handle anything you would use a 6" wrench on. Nice to have opening scales in 1/16" and mm on the base of the jaws. The jaws taper from a thick base to about half that thickness at the points. Unlike some other brands there are no rough finished surfaces. All surfaces are a fine matte finish (forged that way?) or machined flat and smooth. The entire tool seems to demonstrate excellent quality without being pretentious in looks or price.

I used this on some 3/8" nuts and bolts and the jaws adjust down firmly and perfectly parallel and...

TedC: I bought 3 different 4-inch (nominal) adjustable wrenches for comparison: The Klein D506-4, the Channellock 804 and the Bahco 8069 RC US. I'll review them together. An older review, by another customer, of 8" wrenches may be of interest https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1VXP5HDPQ5FER .
All three wrenches are made in Spain, and all are longer than 4" (4.3 for the Bahco, 4.5 for the Channellock and Klein.) And despite various information on their packages and on the Amazon listings, they all open to 9/16" (14mm.) They all have inch and metric scales on the jaws, but only the Channellock has a mark at 9/16; none have a mark at 14mm.
The Channellock and the Klein are clearly related, having the same jaw, screw and pin in the familiar US style. The Channellock is stamped with the brand, but the raised Klein name is in the forging. The Klein also has a round hanging hole instead of the Spanish-style square hole.
The Bahco (nee Sandvic, now part of Snap-on's Williams division) is quite different, having the traditional Swedish buttressed jaws that may be stronger but are a little bulky. Note that this "US" version has the familiar RH thread; LH is the norm in...

Alex W: Read most online reviews and they'll tell you that Irega in Spain makes some great adjustable wrenches, and they're correct. These wrenches may say Channellock, but they're made by Irega and the quality is the same.

Cute isn't a great way to describe tools, but this qualifies. The size is diminutive, but the quality is there. It's got a wide enough jaw to be useful, and is a handy EDC tool for odds and ends.

Daiwamaster: Legit, made in spain, no rust despite the trashy mashy cardboard box it was packed in for 2 years according to the date prints on the original package shipment from the factory which is a good sign of the plating integrity. Haven't used it yet, but will update this review once I do. Jaws have over 1/8" of back and forth play and 1/16 of side play, however they are perfectly parallel when pushed apart. You can unscrew the gear pin for maintenance.

Does not have any scale or measurement markings on the head, despite what both Amazon and Channellock websites states for this exact model. The current item picture doesn't show any marking either, but now that I have it in my hands, I can confirm it wasn't a fluke in the graphic department of Channellock. The fluke is with their writers.

Would have been nice to see an extra wide version of 2-3/4" jaw capacity to set them apart from the other 24" offerings. Reason why I bought the Channellock over Bahco or Ridgid was purely due to Amazon's price drop below $90 that made it affordable for a tool to have "just in case". Would have preferred the Bahco 30" with over 3-5/16" capacity but Amazon didn't wanted to give it to me for...

SaveThais: The wrench does measure 4.5" tip-to-tip but is designed and marketed as a 4" wrench, or 100 mm wrench. It is slim and narrow in the jaws for fitting in tight spots, yet wide grip on the handle for comfortable use. Machining tolerances are good and make the wrench very functional. The wrench opens up 15.5 mm which is perfect for use on bikes (axle nuts and pedals require a 15 mm wrench). It is plenty wide for fitting 9/16" across flats found on standard 3/8" bolts and nuts. The chrome plating is thick and looks attractive. Having the metric and inch markings laser etched is nice. There is no offset error, i.e. the zeros line up perfectly with the wrench closed.

This is a premium adjustable wrench branded by ChannelLock. They are made in Spain by Irega. You will not find a better wrench of this type even by Craftsman or Crescent. I do believe Bahco wrenches are just as good, though they are no longer made in Sweden. Now Bahco has their adjustable wrenches made in Spain. So I just buy ChannelLock.
