Bambi: This book is a great starting point for anybody interested in Chanel- but that's all it's good for. The same can also be said with all the Catwalk books, which all average 3 pages per runway season, with an average of 5 images per page. Just like the others in the series, it suffers by giving newer seasons more pages instead of focusing on the harder-to-find older runways.
I struggle to understand why Yale keeps giving some older seasons ONE page while heavily covered, easily accessible runways that happened less than a decade ago get three to five pages. I'll still buy these books when they're on sale, but they are not an exciting experience to open- I already know that the seasons I'm excited to finally see after years of research and searching will barely get any attention while the ones you can find on Vogue right now are given the limelight.

Burberry: Worth the wait! This is a 700+ page substantial coffee table book. It contains the images the House of Chanel is known for. The outer black case has a fabric 'esque' feel and you may be mindful that it can mark if handled excessively. Definitely has pride of place on the coffee table and receive lots of compliments. It coordinates well with my black/grey/white livingroom. Highly recommended for any fashion appreciator.
