Steve Dougherty: Washed first, no softener or dry sheet. These towels are very average. Most towels on sale at The Bay are way better. Not really that absorbent. The best I've ever had contain a portion of Modal cotton . It makes them more absorbent. Towels like this on sale at The Bay are half this cost.

William Clyde Timbs: Needed some more towels (have 3 kids) and the price on these seemed right. Reviews were good over all. The color is great. The quality seems very good even after a few washings. They are very plush/soft. Only possible downside is they are not as absorbent as I had hoped. They will dry you off, but at times it feels more like it is just pushing the water around. The absorbency did improve after some use, but my older towels seem to dry a bit better. Don't misunderstand, these will get the job done; just not as well as others I own. Overall, I am happy with purchase and feel they are a solid 4 star product.

W Reveals: Its 4 pieces of very thick towel. And the price reduced about 20% after I purchased them. I hate this pricing mechanism of amazon, it always left me feeling sucky because it seems I over paid.

But anw, the towels are comfy and dry relatively fast. The cotton is smooth but after first wash, there will still be lint all over. Subsequent wash will reduce it further. Great towel.

Lover of Tech: Great bath towels! Super soft and big! However, like previous comments when going through the drier alot of lint comes out. The first time it filled my lint tray. The towels were very soft. The second time, after a period of time and a wash and dry, it did it again. The towels were less soft as before.
If you have the time, money for electricity, to wash and dry these towels separately from your laundry and follow the instructions these towels may last a little longer. For me I estimate a good 4 months before they become like sandpaper. Which is why I'm only using 2 of them for now and will switch with the other 2 once these are bad.

Y. D.: I think the value is there. Very fluffy and had no problems with shedding as some less priced towels do. One thing I didn't like is the towels had to be washed 3 times before they were absorbent.

Ken Harrison: After a few washings, I thought it best to give a review of the product. These are luxuriant, absorbent, soft towels that hold their own. I've only had them for a little over three months, but they seem to hold up really well with machine washing. We set two aside for use later (just my wife and I at home), and after two dozen washings or so, they still look just the same. Pretty remarkable: no fading, no threads, no burrs. Great towels

BTW, "Light Weight" as a towel feature? I don't want them to be light weight...I want them to be thick and soft and have a little bulk to them. Ever stay at a 5-star hotel and get a light, skimpy towel??? These are NOT lightweight. They are wonderful.

Blind Dad: I've been watching the price on these towels go up and down but when they got to around $8 per towel, I took the plunge and ordered them. Glad I did because these are very nice towels They are very soft after the first wash, absorbent and well constructed. The Cranberry color has gotten nice compliments and they just feel like expensive towels. I am going to buy more of these to rebuild my towel supply that is now basically four beautiful new towels and a whole bunch of old raggedy yukky ones.

KLM: I just got these a little while ago today. Fast shipping! I haven't used them yet obviously, but my first impression is they are a nice size, pretty color (moss), and very soft. They are in the wash now and I will update once I've used them. So far, I am very happy with my purchase and if my first impression is right, I will buy more!!

UPDATE:
These towels washed really well and didn't shrink at all! They are super soft, perfect size, thick and absorbent! I highly recommend these towels! You will not regret it :)
