Lisa: I’m often carrying my small children while walking on hardwood floors so I’ve made these my every day socks. They are nice and warm and I definitely don’t slip like I would in normal socks. However, I’ve worn through several pairs pretty quickly. I rebought them bc of the reasons above but I’m considering getting something higher quality next time bc of how quickly they get holes.

Narberth Lady: I purchased these socks to use with sneakers, but really they are good for padding around the house only.

Why? Because they do not fit snugly, like a regular sock; the elastic is tight enough only for keeping the sock up, not stable around the foot. The fabric is synthetic, which keeps my feet very warm, yet too warm for inside my shoe. I can't speak to its ability to wick away moisture, because I haven't used them in shoes.

That said, they are good for wearing around the house. Bonus feature -- the synthetic yarns pick up all kinds of stuff from the floor! I've found all kinds of tiny things attached to the yarns through static and other means.
