Of course this binocular is not the best available. That would be an unrealistic expectation at this price point. However, I was very surprised at the quality of the optics. The main negative is the sloppy and finicky focusing mechanism. However, once focused it is surprisingly good for something so inexpensive. The carrying 'strap' is just string glued to the binocular so no way to easily exchange for something better. Overall, recommend for someone that doers not have a lot of money to spend and needs a pocketable (it truly fits in a jacket pocket) binocular or one that fits on a belt for occasional use. It seems well made but I cannot advise on longevity as only had it a short while.

Os pontos fortes desses binóculos são portabilidade e retorno pelo valor investido. Bom modelo de entrada, no limite máximo para observação de pássaros (ampliação 10x) sendo bastante versátil para uso geral em caminhadas, visualização de paisagens e eventos esportivos. Construção do corpo robusta, confortável e ergonômico. Pontos fracos: a alça "só pra constar"; o meu veio com certa folga no anel de foco; ótica de contraste mediano. Mas reiterando: é um modelo de entrada, pelo valor é um bom negócio.

My 4 year old daughter wanted a pair of binoculars. I looked at the kids’ ones and they seemed overpriced for plastic. I decided to buy these based on the reviews.
They come in a small box but are rather nice! They also come with a case to put on your belt and built in straps to wear around your neck. The first day she owned them the strap came apart and could not be fixed, it was glued on the binoculars.
She loves them and I think the clarity is amazing! I was able to zoom in on items and see them very well. They are not heavy but they do have a solid build.
One thing to be careful of, they do dent very easily. She has dropped them the last few days and they look a year old now. However, they work well and for that I am going to give them a high review.

I was in search of a pair of binoculars for my 4 year old nephew. He always wants to see the world up close, but toy binoculars are just that... toys; and he wants the real thing! After doing some research on the best pair of binoculars to buy for kids, I finally decided to get these. Great low price, good looks (he said: They look just like dad's!"), well built and sturdy for getting tossed around. The zoom is powerful enough for him to peer out into the woods looking for a hidden monster, or to spy across the room and get a really zoomed look up mom's nose. My sister says he loves them, and hasn't put them down since Christmas.

The optics on this binoc are very good. No complaints, but I'm no expert.
Focus mechanism is very gummy/rubbery, requiring a lot of force to change focus. I thought this might get smoother as they wore, but no change after a couple months. Then you have about a 30 degree dead spot in the thumbwheel travel (when you change direction). The dead spot is not gummy, but does not move anything, so you can clearly feel when you take up the slack and start moving the focus mechanism again. If you are trying to go back and forth to bring something into focus, the dead spot in combination with the stiff/gummy movement makes for a lot of effort and a mediocre rating. The 10-year old Meades (broken) that this replaced were much smoother, but those are now $35. You get what you pay for.
If I used these often, I would be disappointed, but for occasional use, I am satisfied.
