Philippe Renard: La qualité des jumelles des meilleurs marques au tiers ou le quart de leur prix. Lumineuses, réglage précis, nette sur les bords, rien à redire.

Keith B.: I am very pleased with this purchase. The clarity, field of view, and range of view are all very excellent. The weight is not terrible and the protectors are durable rubber. Would absolutely recommend for the casual birder who is getting more serious about the hobby.

DJ YangDJ Yang: Bought the 10x32, surprised to receive the model (black) which is different from the ad (green), I suppose the black one is a newer model. Quality and feel is expected for this top range model from the brand. Optical wise, there is slight noticeable Color fringing. Overall, 5 stars.

kirk webster: Upon first use, I actually got angry at how good these are. The clarity and ease of use is so far above the base level cheap binoculars that everyone had growing up that those old binoculars may as well have just been cardboard tubes. WELL worth the price.

Tom: I really liked these binoculars. Build quality is excellent. For non ED glass the CA is controlled very well. I experienced peripheral black outs or kidney bean effect as I like to have the eye cups pushed close to my eyes. The Celestron trailseeker’s eye cups, it would appear, did not extend far enough for me personally. Optically however these are excellent - bright clear and sharp image with minimal CA.

Amazonoid: Also note this 10x32 has only 14mm eye-relief so you aren't going to be seeing much wearing glasses.
Focuses anticlockwise to infinity.

I like it but I can see when comparing the optics to some of my other binoculars in my little collection that this 10x32 pretty budget Celestron perhaps understandably possesses neither high transmission nor eye popping contrast unlike my Athlon Midas 10x25 which can live happily in terms of optical ability with my overly expensive Zeiss 8x25 Victory or Leica 8x20 Ultravid.

This non-ED Trailseeker does have surprisingly good lack of edge purple fringing in most circumstances, glare does not seem a great issue and the colour rendition is surprisingly rich. I also like the compact body and excellent build on this example I received so thankyou Chinese technicians for doing that so well.

Could do with a more comfortable neck strap and I don't need the harness thing provided so haven't even looked at that. The case isn't to bad in fact a step up from the most basic. The binocular actually reminds me some of a 10x32 Leica Ultravid HD I used to own as it seems so similarly solid but the Leica didn't even have a smooth focus! I...

Rick Evans: The binoculars are nice, medium size, great weight, attractive, well built and are absolutely optically wonderful. The view is so bright and sharp and full. I have no issues with being steady handed or with a narrow depth of field (they don't feel narrow at all). I'm so glad I got the 10x42s and not the 8x42s. They're kinda perfect. Oh, the lens caps are a little weak. Those could be better, but who cares.

Cameron S.: Really tidy little binocular, great mid range size. Gives a brighter image than a 25mm bino, but not as much weight as a 42mm. Compact, portable, feels solid in the hand. Oozes durability, feels like the premium optical instrument it is. Images are clear and defined, with good colour contrast. Adjusting focus is easy, diopter is stiff enough to stay in place, yet adjustable when need be. I know you arent supposed to look at accessories when you buy binoculars, but the spec provided here is worth noting. A proper high quality carry pouch, a neck strap AND a chest harness included. Pretty damn good!

The only niggle, if you could call it that, is I have noticed they arent the brightest in their class. I have also used a pair of Vortex Diamondback HD's in 8x32, and noticed that those were noticably brighter than these Trailseekers. Mind you, the Trailseekers do have less noticeable chromatic aberration compared to the Diamondback's, but at this size range I do feel image brightness is more important.

All in all a solid, well specced product that will last a lifetime easy. Not the best, but I would be happy to use these as my only pair of binos, nothing inherently wrong...

reader: These are well made binoculars that would be fine for use on bringing objects closer and into focus on a number of activities. However, if you want to use them for gazing at the stars/planets with any intensity, you may want to consider something more powerful. I bought them for this purpose and they really don't change what you're looking at except to make them brighter, with the exception of the moon. I returned them realizing that a more powerful pair would be needed or an efficient telescope.

KetKet: I own the Vortex Diamondback HD 12x50 as well as a GPO Passion 10x42ED and can safely say the Celestron Trailseeker 8x42 performs as well optically, give and take, with some advantages even. FOV is superior to any I have tried. Glass in the Trailseeker are bright and sharp edge to edge with minimal chromatic aberration. I realize the difference in magnification makes them difficult to compare. There is little to fault; If I am nit picking, I think the focus wheel is a little too loose for my taste. Frame is magnesium similar to the other midtierers and even the eye piece is made from metal. I got mine under $200 which I think is an amazing value. I love these binoculars as I think they are the right size and perfect for general spotting.
