The Velcro straps aren’t flimsy & have a large area to adhere to making it that much easier when he is excited to go outside to get it “latched”. It also hasn’t fallen off when he’s running around like a nut! The lining isn’t thick but it keeps him nice & toasty for the cool fall days! Very durable as well & it’s held up perfectly for rough play.

Kathy in San Diego: This dog vest is well made and easy to put on the dog. My dog has a lightweight reflective raincoat as well as a lightweight winter vest. But this vest is for serious winter weather. If you live in a real winter climate or go to the mountains for snow, you will appreciate this vest. It allows your dog to remain out in more extreme weather for a longer hike or hunt. I reccomend it.

Krish KrithivasanKrish Krithivasan: I got the small size for my Jack Russell Terrier. It fits him really well and he looks really good in it. Very easy to put on and take off. Stays in place (my lil guy has been running through bushes with it), quality is really really solid.

It is a Chore coat, quilted on the inside. Warm enough by itself for fall, but as the temperature drops, I will have to pair it with some warm fleece on the inside. Have not tested it in a lot of rain, but it is decently water resistant, just like any other waxed cotton jacket.

The material is the same as what we would expect in a men's chore coat. The buttons are riveted and are really solid (not flimsy). The stitching is on point and really good. The Velcro is solid and adjustable with plenty of room to accommodate a layer or two of fleece underneath. Absolutely worth buying.

Katie: We just bought this for a newest dog. We already have a couple others that are a year or two old for our other dogs. They work so well during our extremely cold winters. It really keeps our older dogs from shivering during their time outside. An added bonus is that it’s bright orange, which is great to spot them in the snow for the ones that like to wonder around on the farm.

Corey BashamCorey Basham: I am absolutely not the type of person who dresses their dogs up in human clothes: if that’s what you like power to ya, but it’s not for me. However, I love Carhartt, and my pitbull-mix has short hair that doesn’t keep her super warm in the cold weather. So I went out on a limb and got her a size medium (she’s a 65 pound dog for context), and while it technically fits, it’s very tight on the chest and not ideal. That’s when I noticed that the size chart Amazon has listed is NOT the same as the one on the coat, and on their website. The size chart they have listed I think is the chart for their duck-training harness. So if you want an accurate size, go to their website and scroll down awhile on the listing and you’ll find it. The coat itself is cute and warm, it’s worth the money!

Silvia SarulloSilvia Sarullo: The media could not be loaded.  Ero titubante all’idea di comprare il cappottino al cane perché temevo di fargli fare una figura misera, invece non solo si tratta di un capo comodo e funzionale (ha una buona aderenza grazie alle due fasce in velcro, il tessuto interno riscalda la bestia mentre quello esterno è impermeabile e non la fa bagnare anche sotto la pioggia scrociante). Avrei preferito una seconda banda adesiva sul ventre, perché, per quanto aderente, la giacca tende in po’ ad allargarsi a livello della coda. Il cane non ha alcuna limitazione nei movimenti e, seguendo le misure indicate, la taglia combacia fedelmente (ad esempio, per un dogo argentino di 60kg ho preso la XL e veste molto bene).
