ObeyTheSnarf: Got this because I'm a disaster and my refrigerator matches. Something was rotting in there, and the smell was getting into other food. I found the rotting thing and disposed of it, but the smell remained (probably partly because I didn't actually go in and clean the fridge otherwise).
Within a week or so of adding one of these to the fridge and one to the freezer, the smell was reduced significantly and no longer fouling the other food. At this point, there is almost no smell, even though the refrigerator has not actually been cleaned since.
I have not learned from my mistakes and I still have something rotting in there sometimes, but months later, the deodorizer is still doing its job spectacularly well. Nothing ends up tasting like dirty bachelor refrigerator, despite it actually *being* a dirty bachelor refrigerator! Success!
The deodorizers are individually wrapped, so you don't need to use all of them at once. I have misplaced the rest of the pack, but that's my problem. Will probably buy more eventually when these ones stop working!

Tracy.W: I used to use baking soda packs, but was tired of changing it every a while. So I decided to try this one. But after I started using it, my fridge has noticable smell from time to time. Have to change back.
