Kelly: I bought 2 of these for my 4.5 year old twins to take ballet and tap in during the winter. These fit great overall. My girls are both VERY slim but average height wise. I can't really imagine this fitting a 6 year old but they are perfect for my girls now. The body fits with a tiny bit of room to grow. The arms are a bit long but you can't tell at all once we pull their hands through. They look and feel really nice. The material has stayed in perfect condition through being washed (and hung dry). No pills or pulls or anything. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish from the front and back! I have similar tank style leotards in the same size which are MUCH bigger and were quite droopy on my girls but this fit just great.

I also had an issue with one of the leotards having a small hole under the arm. It was clearly a manufacturer mistake as it was a very clean split right at the seam. Amazon was great about exchanging it and I've had no similar issues with the other original or the replacement.
