CAMPROS 8-Person Tent - Perfect for Family Camping Trips

Matt: Have to say I'm extremely disappointed with this product. We've sued the tent ONE time and it's already falling apart.... Not happy at all. Hoping Amazon will do the right thing and take this junk product back!

Jen: Absolutely love this tent. The poles are color coded so you can’t mess it up. It’s also huge inside. We slept two adults and two kids plus our large dog and had an entire side left for storage. It’s fabulous. My only complaint is with the door. I really, really wish it was two zippered - one from top to bottom and one at the bottom from left to right, but it’s just one zipper - top left all the down and around back to bottom left. We found this annoying when trying to jump out of the tent in the morning or for trying to toss in a back pack. We had to open the door all the way every time. Other than this minor flaw we found this to be the best tent we’ve ever owned. Have used it twice in damp chilly weather. We had no problem putting it back into the bag, my only advice would be to open all windows and doors before folding and that when you’re packing up and think you’ve folded it enough, fold it one more time. It should be about half the length of the bag when you start rolling. We would definitely recommend and we’re avid, once a month campers.

Mayra montoyaMayra montoya: Went camping for the first time over the weekend, was hesitant on buying because some of the reviews but decided on it. Assembling is pretty straight forward when it comes to matching the poles w the color on the tent but deff recommend the video they have on here for directions way better than the paper directions. The morning of our first day it started pouring rain at 4am until 1pm non stop and let me say pretty impressed on how the floor seams kept up we did have a tarp underneath so nothing poked a hole though and we also did have a tarp over the tent because well i'm not a camper and i know that if it rains tarps tarps tarps i did not use any seam sealer but deff recommend anyway never know another group of us got soaked diff tent tho. The tent is lengthy so the tarp had missed about 5 inch off of one of the edges and nothing leaked through there. There was one corner where the inside divider connects to that when i unhooked it was wet but this just might be from tons of rain but still no water inside just the seam was wet. Jared: If your like many Amazon customers, you will get a product in your mind then go about doing your research and checking reviews before you make the purchase. Let me save you a lot of time. My main deal maker or deal breaker was the tent actually being waterproof. Many tents will say they are waterproof and then you go the the reviews and read that that the reviewer went out and the 1st night in rain they woke up in a puddle of water in their tent. Not with this one. I've set it outside where it rained for 3 straight days, Not a single drop inside. Not just a little trickle of rain either. It was thunderstorms for 3 days. The design, seems and stitching you can tell they had waterproofing in mind. The quality of this tent is superb. They didn't cut any corners and actually seemed to do the opposite and showed emphasis on their craftmanship. Now setting it up. Its a huge tent but one person can do it fairly easily. I'm 5'8 and the 1st time setting up I had a buddy but then after that I wanted to see if I could set it up solo and accomplished this fairly easy. GJGJ: Loved the tent materials. The green we got looks really good. Overall quality felt good as well but as with most things there are pros and cons.

Pro:
- Really easy to set up. This was our first time buying and setting up a tent and we had the whole thing up in about 10 minutes with two people.
- The tent is pretty spacious and the dividing cloth/tarp was good to have between us and the kids
- Plenty of windows for light and cross ventilation

Cons:
- The green one we had let in a lot of light even with the rain covering on. We had a full moon night that came in pretty bright. I think the dark blue might block more light coming in. This would be more of a personal preference.
- On taking the tent down after three days, we noticed that one of the plastic hooks snapped (forgot to take a picture) and one of the sheethings for the elastic wire that holds the tent in place spliced (can be seen in picture). Except for that one that spliced, all the other ones held up well no problem.
- The zipper kept getting stuck in the zipper covering which was highly irritating and annoying especially when time is off the essence. I had to get out in the middle of the...
