Campros 8-Person Tent - Perfect for Family Camping Trips!

Joy: Love the size of this tent, easily can stand in the middle, had a queen size air mattress in it along with two camp chairs and space for a small table if needed. Took it up north in August and it pretty much rained every day, some of the storms were quite windy and hard rain with some hail, we did have to throw up a tarp to add some extra rain protection because the rain never let up and it couldn't help but eventually sink in. Our belongings for the most part remained dry, just had to move some things in the middle more so to help with the build up of rain coming down the sides of the tent. Overall did super well in a relentlessly rainy week. No leaks in the base. Super easy to assemble with color coding of the tent to the poles.

kfriekfrie: We have used this tent a few times now. You could line up two queen air mattresses and a twin side by side with little to no room to walk. As other reviews mentioned it comfortably fits two queen air mattresses with plenty of room for gear. It comes with one divider which was nice. Assembly was not too bad, but definitely easiest with two people. Rods are color coded. We assembled the tent without instructions within 15-20 minutes. This included time to pound in stakes and set the guy lines. I would recommend better stakes as most other reviews did as well. Love the full ceiling screen- awesome for start gazing. A lot of windows assisted with air flow eliminating that stuffy feeling. The initial setup was in wind and I was not prepared for what was about to transpire. The wind blew and the metal stakes pulled right out- I instantly felt as though I was flying with a parachute. I'm hoping I don't end up on YouTube in a video with me sailing through my yard like Mary Poppins holding on to my tent. Brian Tucker: A little heavy. To be expected due to the size. Definitely not something you want to lug far with a lot of gear. No defects or issues found. Not to say the floor is made of bad material, but I wish it were a little more heavy duty. I could see needing to patch it if we let the doggo in. Setup was really easy. Can be done solo in 5-10 minutes. In case my wife reads this, I am NOT saying I did it solo and she did not help!! She did. So it took about 15 minutes. Me and a drink buddy could probably get it done in 3-5. My son and I slept in it in our back yard last night as a test ride. I believe it is supposed to sleep 6 people. If you have a 5 year old that sleeps as wildly as mine you may want to get one for him and one for the rest of the family. But seriously, ample space with good head room towards the center. All in all I believe this to be a good purchase worth the money. ***Note: my wife read this before I posted it so I'll be sleeping in this tent for a few more days of "testing" than previously anticipated...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: So far this tent is awesome! It is very huge and would definitely fit 8 people.

Pros- It is very spacious and the windows allow for a lot of air flow. It is pretty quick to set up, the poles are color coded on where they go. I didn’t even use the instructions and it took maybe 15min including putting a tarp down. I expect it’ll be probably 5min-10min depending on if you have an extra set of hands. I haven’t added the rain fly yet, so I’m assuming that’ll take a little more time to figure out. Really enjoyed the mesh top, I was mesmerized by how open it was. Would be amazing on a clear night to see stars!

Cons- The poles do feel a little cheap. It was windy the day I set it up, and they did hold up well. I’m going camping for 4 nights though, and I am hoping they last. My only worry is they don't feel very strong. I’m afraid if I bend them just a little too much getting them in place, they could crack or break. I also was a little bummed it only came with one privacy curtain, instead of two since there’s two spots for it. Oh well, I’m sure I could make one.

MediaBoxEnt: Very excited for this season back yard camping! we got this tent to camp for now at our backyard! it was super simple and fast to put together, I loved that it come in a small box so I could hide it and set it us as a surprise for my whole family! we had a great dinner and after that we went outside to camp and sleep! no bear around, just my family and the dogs having lots of fun! This tent definitely fits 8 people comfortably and it is waterproof, we had a bit of rain at night and no water come in! I love how good the stitching was made! the window left the air go in an out at all time, beautiful breeze!
My family and I are crazy Happy with this tent! we chose green and loving it!
