Syed Mushtaq Ahmed: It does what it is made for. If I had a faster usb port i.e usb 3.0 the picture quality would have been better. Cheapest alternative to a graphic card.

Jagadeesh: Hi have tried many other cables by following youtube videos, all are too complicated to configure and need to sintall drivers as well... and did not work as expected. i wasted almost a month on this.

it made my life very easy.. no installations, no extra drivers required... just plug and use..
I liked it very much.. Thanks a lot for providing me suach a gr8 product...

Shubham T.: I just plugged into my USB 3.0 port then , driver automatically came in another drive , then installed the driver , and restarted the PC and boom , it started working.
I have tried other connectors but then there was some driver issue.
only supports USB 3.0 , if you connect with USB 2.0 then resolution will be scaled down , no use , so only use USB 3.0 port . I am a trader and need 3-4 displays connected to my laptop so used this connector , one HDMI , one USB 3.0 to VGA . Now thinking to buy a USB 3.0 hub to connect more displays
Just buy the product if you have less ports to connect to a monitor

Honestly: The product build quality is fair. Though does not feel premium.
Pro :
Good quality
USB to VGA connectivity
Seems connecting this generation laptops to your old genration monitor
Only usefuo for video display does not connect audio
Cons :
Not a plug and play device
The intallation for non techie is difficult
especially finding BiOS version
Installation CD could be more helpful if they add a video or document helping installation.
Last and important the attached monitor works on lesser resolution than monitor.
So if you are connecting two monitors you can espcially make out the difference and that bothers.
If you are connecting only one monitos that would be fine but you will still make out differnce.
And that was a big No for me.

Albertico: Excellent price, superb quality, the adapter came with a mini disc, but my laptop doesn't have the hardware for it. More importantly, I follow the instructions on how to download the driver from their site. Despite negative comments on the web regarding compatibility. I have Windows 10. Download driver, plugged the cable and WOW. Works perfectly and performance outstanding. Thanks.

Aaron L: Despite description and trying at least three drivers, would not show up as a display option for Mac OS high Sierra. Would sort of mirror the display... Illegible color balance, super blurry.
Customer service for the product would send me a reply every few days, but refuse to address the issues I had and claimed that the cable must be working fine if there is any image at all. They kept offering me solutions that I had already told them were not possibilities.
A waste of time and landfill space all around.

Steve: I bought this for someone who just bought a new laptop and wanted to hook up 2 monitors to it. The laptop only came with a single HDMI port and no other video port. After researching I ran across this and decided to give it a try. I first tried it out on my Dell laptop which is a few years old and the picture quality was pretty poor with artifacts on the screen. I tried multiple resolutions and they all had the same result. Reluctantly I had her try it on her new Lenovo laptop and surprisingly it looked good. I am giving it a 4 star rating because it met her needs, but not 5 because it doesn't appear to work on all laptops well.
You will need to install the drivers which come on a miniature CD. This is potentially a problem for a lot of people with newer laptops that don't have CD/DVD drives. Hers didn't have one, but I did have an external USB DVD drive that I used to install them for her. The product description does mention a website to download the drivers, but there is no direct link to this product and I couldn't find it on that site. I am lucky I had access to a DVD drive or I would have returned this.

Caroline Bailey: I was running out of ports to connect a second monitor to my pc. This fixed the problem. Easy to connect. There is accompanying software on a computer disk that must be installed. This was automated and easy. The default on my computer was to install the 2nd monitor to the right. You can change that in Settings if you need it elsewhere. If you haven’t tried a second monitor yet get too it! You’ll never go back :)
