Or you can search "FL2000-2.1.33676.0.exe". I got it from SoftPedia. By the time you read this there will be a new version but this should be a good start.

No need to download "Driver One".

Get Rich: It works good and that is important. I discovered that I could not get full resolution when it was plugged into a USB hub. Also, the boot time on the computer is 3 to 4 times longer. However, it now works perfect with full resolution, and that’s all that counts.

The driver was easy to find online and easy to install. (FL2000) You'll also need WinZip or similar app to unpack the .rar file.

MaheshMahesh: I have only 1 hdmi and 2 usb slots in my laptop. 1 screen is connected using hdmi and 2nd screen using this usb 3.0 to vga converter. You need to search for drivers and restart the system then only it will work. Quality of the cable is very good and length too.

Milind B.Milind B.: I own a HP-da 0325tu laptop which is 3 years old. It has 1 HDMI and 2 USB 3.0 ports. I have a 22 inch monitor connected to the sole HDMI port of the laptop in extended mode. I felt the need of attaching one more monitor as the real estate space for my trading charts was not enough. Initially I though of replacing the 22 inch with 32 inch QHD monitor which is quite expensive somewhere around 25 to 35K. So a frugal solution came to my mind. Why not extend 1 more 15 inch AOC monitor which was lying at my home. But I was scared whether my laptop supports 2 external monitors. Even there is only 1 HDMI port. So I bought this USB 3.0 to VGA cable and connected the 15inch AOC VGA monitor as an extended one. I have attached the image. I physically kept is adjacent to the 22 inch monitor to extend my trading chart. Though it reduces the vertical space but the charts are read horizontally. It gives me a screen space of 21.5 inches + 15.5 inches = 37 inches in total. It is a "jugaad" but works for me. The cable is pretty sturdy and the best part is no drivers to be downloaded. Happy with the USB to VGA cable and the seller as the packing was good. I hope this helps.

Download drivers from the website sticker on the cable. Could use the displays in extended mode.

Note: Display resolution might be limited on some of the USB ports (only provided 800x600 when connected C - port to usb and then this cable)

David P. Whelan: This cord allowed me to connect a VGA monitor to an HP laptop whose HDMI port had stopped working but had plenty of USB 3 ports. For better or worse, if you just plug the cable in direct from opening the package, you may get 800x600 resolution on your external monitor and greyed out display resolution options in Windows. As the instructions on this product page say: download the drivers and install them first. If you didn't, go to the Cable Creation web site and get their manual. It explains how to remove the entries in your Device Manager. Then start over. When I did this, the drivers activated when I plugged in the cable. This time, the monitor displayed at its optimal resolution, not 800x600. Like many USB devices on Windows, Windows will acted as if it has never seen the cable when I plugged it into a different USB port. I'm very impressed with the quality of cable, and that there is an update app to keep the software drivers current.

Tamica Riley: I was actually purchasing this product to extend my dual monitor display. After My DP port went out of wack I needed a healthy alternative for my newly purchased Refurbished computer. I have tried too many gadgets over the years to extend my dual monitor systems. This gadget worked flawlessly after running the included disk. When I initially hooked it up to monitor no signal transmitted. I just KNEW that this would be another deadpan advent of mines. After the disk finished installing my 2nd monitor popped up like VOILA! I AM ECSTATIC about this purchase that actually work and even outside of required specs. I am using a 2.0 usb on a pretty nice refurbished powerhouse of a machine. So maybe that makes the difference! I don't know but I am currently so pleased with my purchase!
