Colin: Do not purchase this product, it does not work with Windows 11 and when I try to return it Amazon just keeps saying 'product not returnable' but was delivered from Amazon warehouse
So much for Amazon after sales, when you try to return as defective you are in a loop with Amazon and you go around in circles. Amazon return process is hopeless with sellers like this

Canadian Gypsy: This a great cable - anybody that orders this cable - I'd suggest -> C2G/Cables to Go 02781 DB9 F/F Serial RS232 Mini Gender Changer - I needed one for my wife whom needed this adapter cable to program Wireless Access Points @ her work - both the cable end & the Access Point had male DB9 ports - using the Mini Gender Changer - she was able to access & program the points with no issues what so ever ... worked great with the latest release of Win10 ...

Bohlsxs: Does what it's supposed to and is built pretty solid. You may need to find drivers online to get the COM ports setup however.

David T. Dandrea: We replaced a very high priced industrial converter (no longer available) with this unit and were a bit worried about the reliability of a comerical unit in this application. After 2 weeks of testing the cable matters unit passed all test and continues to work well in this application. Driver installation was strightforward. This is a very high quality product at a reasonable price.
