ichiban: I've used Cable Matters patch cables for a long time and they always work well. Having used several different brands of cables for work and home, I prefer the protective tang these use that isn't obtrusive. This is an example of a product that doesn't get enough credit when they work well, but everyone knows when they don't. Each of these cables was the proper length, proper colour I ordered, and worked flawlessly in my installation.

Ed: I just buy these because crimping manually takes so long, for short cables it's usually not worth my time. They always work great.

Steve G: Tough to say much about cables, they work or they don't - these do. I used them to replace mono-colored cables on a multiport switch so I could quickly identify which cable fed what device (colors are bright & distinct). I didn't specifically test data rates but coming out of the switch they are feeding everything from surveillance cameras to Cisco Set Top Boxes to PCs without any issues. I have nominal 100 mb/s internet service and Speedtest.net on my PC says I'm getting 120 mb/s, so there's that.
Took off one star because they're not 100% snagless - if that claim wasn't being made, they'd be 5 stars. They avoid snags by having a rubber(?) "ramp" leading up to the security clip on the cable side of the plug. That ramp must necessarily be flexible and if it encounters a small, hard obstacle when being pulled it back will bend, sometimes allowing the security clip to catch on the obstacle. My use is pretty much set and forget, so this is not at all an issue for me. If it's critical to your use, it might be a con.
