Shrek: Don't expect expert quality at this price. That being said, they are very good for their price range. Clear image, user friendly, lightweight, and includes a carry case. Very handy spotting birds and other objects from my boat.

p-town slugger: Bought these for use at the rifle range with my boys. They are easy to use, lightweight and work well. Use on the 1000 yd range made spotting a breeze. Solid built glasses and surprisingly clear resolution at fair distances. I would recommend for anyone that is looking to use for casual viewing, bird watchers and younger folks that aren't quite ready to carry/transport/use more expensive options. Overall...works great, lightweight, easy to use and very affordable.

Herbert Cheok: I just received the item and was eager to test it. The first thing I noticed is that it doesn't come with both the front and rear lens caps. This is so disappointing. After all this is not a pocket-sized but a compact-sized binocular. All my compact-sized binoculars came with the caps. How am I going to prevent dust from accumulating on the bino. It doesn't cost that much to provide both the caps but it will certainly add value with the provision. That being said, the main feature is its permafocus which make it so much more user friendly. One of the most underrated features in a binocular is its focusing wheel. Some come with stiff and hard to turn forcusing wheels. The absence of the focusing wheel is thus a plus factor without a doubt. Others like its built and optics quality, firmed twist-up eye cups, I have no complaints about vis-a-vis its affordable price.

Walter Rabitt:
Price was reasonavle and had good reviews.
It as no controls, such as eye focus adaptation and the ability to widen the distance between eyes.. Appears to be rugged enough for short drops. For what it was intended, (Sports spectator) it fills the bill.
Comes with a carrying case to attach to belt or hung around neck.
Since it is new, will see how it holds up throughout the year.
As a gift , it was received extremely well.

Susan S.: I have a family member that has the use of only one hand making it difficult to hold binoculars while adjusting focus. Theses binos solve that problem as they are self-focusing and clarity is quite good. These could really coming in handy at sporting events with the constant movement.
The one drawback; sacrificing up-close focusing ability compared to two other 10x40's that I own (which have a close-up range around 8'.). The close-up focus for us is a non-issue for our intended use.
I did compare these Bushnell binoculars to the self-focusing Tasco brand with the same specs. There was virtually no difference in clarity or quality between the two with the exception of the neck strap - the Bushnell was much better.
