I’ve ordered around 8-9 of these “ratchet” type belts in the last 2 years. They have all had shortcomings that made me quit wearing them.
This one is the best by far of the type.
I’ve even bought the $60 one not on Amazon.
This is better. The ratchet holds fast. It has easy quick release and it’s comfortable.

This is perfect for my husband to wear every day at work. He likes it so much I plan to get additional colors and some for my sons as well. They are a mote casual look than a traditional leather belt and look good with sneakers and casual shoes. Very easy to use and seem to be good quality.

Adjustment technique is a great idea. Easy to cut to size, meets expectations. Only questionable item is the loop used to hold the overlap. It has to be this way because of varying adjustments, but its not commented to the belt and slides off each time you take the belt off.

It is a nice casual belt. It is not formal enough to wear with a suit or dress slacks. I like the ratchet mechanism, which works well. It is easy to change from one color side to the other. Only four stars for two reasons: 1) the gray side is more of a bright silver color than a gray; not what I expected; and 2) the buckle is heavier than any other belt buckle I own. It's not a problem when wearing the belt, but when taking pants off or on the buckle is so heavy that it has pulled the belt off the pants via gravity. Overall, I like the belt despite those shortcomings.
