Mrs. W: I bought this to use in the bottom of my large planters at the beginning of the season. One thing I didn't realize at the time is that at the end of the season- which was a couple days ago for some of my planters - it is nearly impossible to pick these out of the soil, and when you overturn them, don't do it on a windy day or you'll be chasing peanuts. I typically dump my used soil in our compost heap, but couldn't do it this year because of these. Won't be using them next year to lighten the planters.
