Brooks England Cambium All-Weather Bicycle Saddle - Ready for Any Weather!

Terry Reed: I alway wanted a Brooks saddle but was hesitant to bother with the fuss and maintenance of the leather. This saddle is maintenance free. It is very comfortable for me once I dialed in the for/aft position and the tilt. It does give and flex a little under weight, but not a crazy amount. The old fashion look goes great on my '87 ten speed. Made in Italy, didn't realize Brooks is owned by an Italian company now.

BJ Wills: I purchased this bike seat to replace one which was the exact same make and model.
I had the previous seat for around 10 years+ and was quite impressed by its comfort however the rubber had torn near the seat's "nose" and there was other signs of deterioration evident.
I have tried the new seat on three occasions so far and I must say I continue to love this seat with its instant comfort (no wear in period)!!

Gone Fishing: Easy to install. Great feel. No padding, but flexible in just the right way. Much better than the original saddle that came with the bike, (even though that one had padding, it was too narrow for my seat bones).

Angelo G.: Il fatto he io pensi che la sella in questione è dato dal fatto che ne ho 3 in tutto. Trovo che si molto comoda, che sia resistente (ci ho fatto qualche viaggio e non riporta segni evidenti) e che sia molto leggera. La rigidità dello scafo e la "morbidezza" della seduta ne fanno, secondo me la migliore in circolazione.

Gunnar: I've been riding selliatomica for years. But when the price went up to $190 and quality went down. I decided to try something else. I am very impressed with this Brooks saddle. The comfort is right up there with the selliatomica. But no worries with weather and stretching out leather. I thought the texture might be a problem but it is actually a perfect balance between smooth and tacky. I am impressed.

Terry Parris: I've run many a saddle on several bikes and on three different bicycle tours. I've even owned a Brooks B67 a few years before this. I'm not a fan of leather saddles after owning it.

This however is the Brooks to get if you don't like the maintenance issues with any of the Brooks leather saddles. It's probably the most comfortable saddle I've ridden and I've ridden a number of them. Sure it doesn't have the padding that many saddles do, nor the gel padding that others do. Where this saddle lacks padding it has more flex than others due in part to it being made from vulcanized rubber. Yes, vulcanized rubber. But don't let it fool you. This is a very well made and durable saddle.

My only skepticism is that the rubber is vulcanized in Italy since Sele Italia bought Brooks a couple years back. Though the rubber is vulcanized outside of England, I'm assuming the saddle was finished in England. The rivets that hold the rubber on the saddle look as if they were done by Brooks themselves and the quality of the build is top notch as one would expect from Brooks.

Eduardo Ruiloba: Un asiento que se adapta perfecto a mis posaderas, el modelo que escogí fue el C 17 tallado en primera por el espacio vacío y en Segunda en específico ese modelo de asiento ya que el uso y modalidad en la que montó mi bicicleta es plenamente urbano, recreacional y como transporte así que quizá el asiento más angosto sea ideal para ejercer un pedealeo con mayor eficiencia dejando a un lado la comodidad al momento de ir sentado como el mas ancho seguramente sacrificaría la fuerza que puedas ejercer en el pedaleo a tiendas de una mayor comodidad al momento de estar sentado

Consejo: cuiden su bicicleta y por ende su asiento!, limpien su bici porque una bici limpia es una bicicleta contenta.

BBRR: The TL;DR Pros & Cons:

These are my experiences. Everyone's body is different, so saddles will fit people differently. In general this saddle is highly rated by a lot of customers, so it is likely a good fit for the wide variety of riders, but if you have some a unique physical inclination, it may not be for you.

Pros:
- Very comfortable, despite how thin & unpadded it looks
- Cut out relieved the genital numbness and overall discomfort issues I was having while riding my road bike.
- Price was just right. Paid about $100 at the time. I know that might be expensive for some people, as it's more than what they paid for their bikes. It's all relative, and to me the comfort is worth it.
- Weatherproofing really works!
- I am a big fan of the look (and lack of maintenance) on my bike compared to Brooks' traditional leather saddles. Now my only issue is that my bike looks faster than I actually am. Oh well.

Cons:
- Sizing was kind of tough to determine, and I ultimately ended up buying the wrong size.
- The saddle is on the heavier side, so if you're someone that's concerned about component weights, this saddle might not be for...
