Amazon カスタマー: ワイヤーブラシが使いにくい。使用一回で終了!

Amazon Customer: It was time to replace my old wire brush I use to clean the grill. I bought this and I am not disappointed. It is designed to get all the old stuff off the grilling surface. The wire on it does not come off like my old wire brush bristles did. The wires fit nicely between the grates for cleaning deeper and it has the ability to scrape a larger area. Due to the sturdiness of it I am thinking it will last a long time. I made the right choice with this purchase.

LadyKathy: I have researched this brush on several websites. I love what they say about them not being harsh on the grates. From my research: No more worrying about sharp metal bristles that might scratch or fall into your grill or melted nylon bristles that can melt with too much heat: this grill brush features a helix-coiled scrubber made of stainless steel wire, so it's highly effective for thick gas grill grates and thin charcoal grates. Sounds good to me so we'll see how it works. Also unlike the typical metal scraper brush, this won't hurt your hands on the spirals. They are very soft to the touch.

Mr Jeremy Tetley: This brush is far too stiff, the idea might be good but in practice it just doesn't flex enough to be able to clean grills well.
Sent back as unfit for purpose.

もう少し、ブラシ部は柔らかい方が、網などには使いやすくなると感じます。

Cartan McLaughlin: Just doesn’t work!

JC: I have two Weber charcoal grills which have the cylinder shaped grills. I think if you wanted to return your grill to out of the box clean, then I don’t know of any brush that can do that. I think some elbow grease, steel wool, and a heavy degreaser would. However, I think this can come close enough. As a comparison, my other tool is the wood paddle where the grooves have been “burned in”. Basically you’re looking to scrape off burned stuff so you don’t transfer that to the food you’re cooking (and definitely not any bristle pieces), and also a clean grill prevents food sticking (as does meats that have been out at room temp for about 30 mins). The wood paddle gets the surface well but until I really burn in the grooves, it doesn’t get far between the grills. The Cook Time brush seems to get a little deeper. How I clean the grill is get a very hot fire going and essentially burn all the caked on grease or sauce (granted I rarely have a sauce or marinade). You know it’s hot when it fire gets up onto the grill and the grease/sauce liquifies and then puffs up and dries to a crisp. Then while hot, scrape small sections at a time. Essentially, you’re scraping off the...

A. Dauria: This is a decent cleaning brush. It is well made and sturdy. It has the solid scraper on one side, which is handy. The other side is a series of metal loops. The general idea is that this design doesn't shed dangerous metal shards like a more traditional brush. So far, this has been effective in not shedding metal (though, to be sure, even new traditional brushes don't shed). Time will tell if this works as the brush gets older.

The downside of this design is that it is harder to get in-between the grill grates for cleaning. You can do it, but it takes some more effort, tilting of the brush, etc. I wish it were a little better at cleaning, TBH, but it's worth it IF it continues to work safely as it ages.

DTrain: This grill brush promised to be everything I hoped for - sturdy, easy to clean, and safer than wire bristle brushes. Unfortunately it isn't quite as good as I'd hoped. It is very sturdy and well-made and looks like it will last a long time. I've used it about 10 times this summer so far and I don't see any deterioration. It is also very easy to clean. I usually just rinse it off with the sink sprayer and let it air dry and it comes clean every time. But where this falls down is on how well it cleans my grill. I have a Weber gas grill with ceramic grates - the slats on the grates are about 3/4" wide - and this brush just doesn't really work that well at getting the grates clean. Maybe if you have the stainless wire-style grates with much thinner slats it would work better, but for the ceramic grates I have to kind of rotate the brush head about 1/8 of the way around so that the wire rings on the brush scrape along the grates. That works OK, but it still leaves some cooking residue behind. I have to use a grill pad to get the grates fully clean. So although I want to really like this brush, it just isn't quite the right one for me.

UPDATE after 1 year, this brush is still...
