The U-MAX Outdoor Propane Gas Fire Pit Table is the perfect addition to your patio. This 44 inch, 50,000 BTU firepit is equipped with an auto-ignition system and a stylish rattan surface. The tempered glass lid and glass stone rocks add to the classic look while also providing CSA certification. Not only is this fire table built with quality, but it also offers unbeatable customer support and is easy to assemble and install. Enjoy the 0.2 inch tempered glass top that easily transforms the firepit into a dining table. The heat output of up to 50,000 BTU creates a cozy and warm atmosphere. Plus, the adjustable feet prevent the table from wobbling on uneven surfaces. D. KinzieD. Kinzie: I have to say...I gambled on this piece after searching relentlessly for a fire table of this size and HEIGHT. The one I REALLY wanted (not on amazon) was $100 more, but then you also had to buy the top plate/table cover, the wind guard, and the seasonal cover. All said and done it was over $700, and for a few hundred less I gambled on this one...and glad I did.
First off, the images they use makes the thing look cheap and light brown, when it really isn't. The tempered glass is really a nice look, and the wicker doesn't look cheap in person. It's certainly sturdy and not going anywhere, but one person can move (ok drag) it around with a propane tank still in it.
Setup is pretty straight forward, just like anything else take your time, read the directions, don't strip any holes, and don't tighten things slowly and evenly. Use hand tools so you don't strip or over-tigthen / bend anything even if you're tempted to grab your drill. I didn't remove the blue plastic around the silver controls, and you can see the outline of it, so don't be like me... remove the blue plastic piece first before you install it. I'll have to climb in there and fix that before my friends...

Jazznoize: I read all the reviews about how it isn’t too easy to assemble, and the instructions weren’t clear, and some of the hardware designations in the instruction booklet aren’t correct, but it was very easy to figure out. That’s the problem with the transliteration on lots of these Chinese imports. Common sense prevails. You only need to know that the 4 longer “O” bolts go where they show you to use the short “N” ones to put the “D” end panel together...and the 4 short stainless steel screws (there are only 4 stainless screws in the whole kit) secure the burner to the table top, not the “N” bolts shown. Those are the only 2 mistakes I found in the assembly manual
I also didn’t have a problem with the propane flex tube attachment installation- it reaches fine, and doesn’t twist up or break if you follow the instructions. It can only go in one way. It’s also easier to attach this with the glass top insert removed. It’s that easy. And yes.... you do need a AAA battery for the igniter to operate. You just unscrew the igniter button and slide in a AAA battery. Couldn’t be easier.
I couldn’t find any assembly video for the model I bought (42”...

Scorpion-1: So far, I like everything about this Fire Pit Table,,, except the written instructions! The included step-by-step instructions were mostly pictures. That's probably good for most people, since they probably don't read them anyway. But, I do and sometimes need to re-read them a few times so that it makes sense to me. LOL Somehow, I missed the small expanded photo in Step9 that shows the red arrow sticker pointing the burner in 1 direction! Now, I had a 50/50 chance on getting it right by missing this, but now you know why I do not gamble. LOL There should be an additional note explaining that if you turn the burner and face it the wrong direction (like I did), it will cause the copper lead from the thermocouple to be too short. Then, like me, when you try to stretch and attach the control panel to the side wall a couple of times, the copper lead will crack and break. From this debacle, I learned that the seller was very good about it, pointing me to a replacement thermocouple and instructing me to purchase it, then notify them that I did, and they refunded my order with an amount that more than covered the cost of the replacement part. So, save yourself some time and aggravation...
