A reader, a crafter, a gardener and cookA reader, a crafter, a gardener and cook: I'm 5'2", 150 lbs with a big belly. I got an 8 short and they fit perfectly....even the length was perfect and I'm short.
They have pockets, which I loved.
I wore them for about five hours and they were comfortable...even after eating as the waist is elastic.
Basic, classic, timeless, black slacks.
Very happy.

Sandra T: I ordered a 16 and they fit wonderfully except I need to hem them about 1 in. I'm 197 lbs and 5'4". Yes they have elastic in the waist but no one sees my waist. I always wear tunics or longer sweaters. The pants came out of package with a few wrinkles so expect to iron them. The tummy panel is indeed just a piece of thin polyester sewn in and serves no purpose. I love the pockets. The fact that they are high up instead of the side means they don't bulge out and make your hips look even wider than they probably are. I needed a pair of navy pants to wear with a pretty navy Laura sweater gifted to me. I hate wearing blue! So these cheap, comfy, flattering, though not top quality, are perfect for what I need.
