Sean: Would have been nice to know CarPlay is not wireless, nonetheless… stereo works well, I couldn’t get the steering wheel controls to work, stereo would just boot loop, not laggy and performs as expected. Moral of the story is do your research.

Amazon Customer: I installed this in my 2002 Honda Accord and it works great. A couple cons I have had are it takes a bit longer then I like to start up and it doesn’t have a built in mic so I had to the external mic. The EQs are tricky but that’s because I’m not very good at them. All in all I have enjoyed this radio for the last month.

Joshua: This was a pretty solid unit for the price. It cost me around $170 and supported Apple CarPlay, android auto and Bluetooth. It booted up more quickly than I expected based on the reviews that I read, however, you could tell that it is a cheaper unit, due to the lack of extra features that other units might have. One thing that I really liked about this particular unit was that it had an option to change the colors of the touchscreen buttons on the left of the display. This was particularly useful to me, as it allowed me to match the display buttons to that of my car, which was a green light. When running audio through Apple CarPlay, audio was Chris and sounded great. However, using Bluetooth was a different story. When I turn up the volume, you could hear distortion in the higher frequencies and an overall decrease in sound quality. This was disappointing to me as I was hoping to receive a better experience using Bluetooth. The microphone was good quality and seem to work moderately well given the price point of this unit. Overall, I would say this is a pretty solid unit for the price. However, if you’re expecting great quality, I would look to Kenwood or Alpine since they have...

Daniel Brooks: Installed this to replace an older model that didn't have Android Auto. Everything works great and the screen has large controls, which make viewing easier. Highly intuitive and easy to hook up. The ability for both front and rear camera's on demand is a plus. It even has the ability to power the camera if you want operation without the reverse lights on.

Only one complaint. It has a setting for default volumes for each of the various functions (navigation, phone, radio, stream, etc.). These randomly reset back to zero. Contacted the Boss customer support line and the answer that I got was how to set the volume. Less than supportive.

Overall, a very good car radio that performs very well with good visibility on the screen. This is important to me as I have gotten others with font so small it couldn't be read quickly while going down the road.

Connor Johnson: I got this head unit as an upgrade from my dated 2005 head unit that didn’t even have an aux port! I wired and installed the unit myself and it is very straightforward (provided you watch a couple YouTube videos and have the oem harness attachment) and gave me no problems! Touch screen works perfectly and glass screen is a nice touch! Would buy this again for another vehicle! Highly reccomend!

BabyzdaddyBabyzdaddy: I have an iPhone for work, and an Android for my personal phone. This HU gives me what I want Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I installed it with the Axxess ASW1 for steering wheel controls, and soldered all my connections than added a back up camera later. Everything works well.

My only complaint is the screen. A bit of glare to deal with, and it’s hard to make out when using darker maps. Maybe a better resolution would fix the image problems or I am just older.

Anyways, its much better than my old Honda Premium Audio HU in terms of telling me where to go.
