I wore heavy duty work gloves so my fingers didn't hurt that bad. The handle should move to the other end instead like one of other users pointed out. I used saw horses as the support. The center hinges look sturdy so probably i can get away using 2 saw horses. The 3/4 in dog holes are excellent selling points. I bought this table top for the dog holes. It saved me headache to drill my own MFT dog holes on a vanilla table top.

Mark CMark C: This is a preliminary review. I'll update after use. The Bora Centipede worktop is made from MDF. Raw, unsealed MDF, with unfinished edges. For the price, the least I would expect is slightly chamfered edges. MDF edges chip very easily and a light chamfer not only reduces likelihood of chips, but also reduces the probability of slicing into one's fingers. As a manufacturing step, this seems like a no brainer to me. So, I chamfered them myself in a couple minutes.
I am also disappointed that no sealing finish was present. Raw MDF is notorious for absorption, especially unfinished edges. Again, I did it myself with some clear polyurethane - prior to putting the worktop to work for the first time.
The Centipede system is marketed as a trade quality product. The two above issues tell me otherwise, at least for the worktop. I expect to receive the folding stand tomorrow and I hope it's more work ready. I'll review it separately and put an update here.

Belinda H.: First impressions. It (and the centipede that this accompanies) breaks down into easily carried components. The pins that hold this to a centipede are weird. I understand that they’re sub-flush of the deck so that they create no worktop obstruction and that they allow for variations in exactly how expanded or contracted the centipede is when you put the top on. But reaching inside the crossmembers from underneath is bad ergonomics. It’s not a deal breaker, just a little awkward. The top seems sturdy enough. It seems like the perfect staging area for storing pencils, measuring tapes, off cuts after cutting sheet goods on the caterpillar. I’m sure I’ll also try clamping a chop saw or dovetail jig to it at some point. The centipede crossmembers can get really bendy much more quickly than other expanding structures of similar design. I’d recommend being careful with it while breaking it down. Opening it seemed fine.

Argo man: This is a pretty good quality set up and am happy with it. It sets up in a couple minutes and has many advantages such as being collapsible and easily stored . It's not something I would normally spend money on but we work around the yard alot and in my garage where you are always looking for bench space.
The only thing I can say negative is the storage bag is a bit flimsy.

Mike McFalls: I purchased the Bora Centipede (2’ x 4’ model) after seeing in a local Home Depot and I also own the Kreg Mobile Project Center & Kreg Track Horse, so I have decided to combine my impressions and experiences in a single post.
I have owned the Kreg Mobile Project Center and Track Horse for about three years now. These have not been my primary work surfaces/saw horses but I often set them up as a compliment for unique situations and secondary work area as needed. This is primarily due to the height limitations of the Kreg Project Center. The 31 1/2” height is my single biggest complaint and detraction of the Project Center. I recognize I am abnormally tall (6’5”), so take this complaint with a grain of salt.
Disclaimer- I purchased these with my own money, the Track Saw in store at Lowe’s, the Bora at Home Depot and the WorkCenter thru Amazon. I have not been compensated in any way and these opinions are my own based on my experience.
I am not sure exactly what structure will work best for this post, so apologies if this format is a bit confusing/inconsistent.

Auntie Lisa;/George: i am a disabled builder. i had been working on some fold up bench ideas; something with removable tops that could be hung or put out of the way when not in use. i can't believe i found a top with bench dog holes at such an affordable price, shipped FREE with prime right to my door.
And the hinge will make this even easier to manage. i had considered a hinge in my plans; but quickly realized it would make the already difficult job of 'perfect dog hole placement' even harder. But when this BORA, with amazing & sturdy hinges, unfolds; the dog hole alignment is perfect!
The one i got has 3/4" holes. i want a second with metric. That way, when i see a deal or sale price on any of the wonderous bench dogs & dog hole accessories(handicap aids to me) i can take advantage of a good price even if they only come metric or imperial.
if you have been thinking about a woodworking bench with dog holes... buy this! if you just want a portable top, buy this! >♿Lisa🔨
