Bones Coffee Company Holy Cannoli Flavored Coffee Beans

ERBR: I got this for my birthday as, admittedly, $20 is a LOT for coffee in this economy. Coffee is something I love, though, and Indiana Jones movies are some of my favorite movies. While The Last Crusade is my actual favorite movie, I had wanted to try this flavor and I couldn't pass up the iconic poster. I was pleasantly surprised by this coffee, as I had initially figured it was more gimmick than quality. The grind is perfect, the quantity of coffee you get is actually pretty great, and the taste is amazing. I tend to make most of my coffee in a stovetop espresso maker and it is really nice when brewed that way. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is that I just can't get on board with the cost - while it's definitely great coffee, I'm not sure it's entirely worth $20. I would say if you're the type to spend that on coffee pretty regularly, it's good.

JohnnyJohnny: Bones Coffee is amazing, however, this bag of coffee arrived with a small hole in it. I opened the shipping bag and there was ground coffee all over inside. THIS WAS NOT CAUSED BY BONES COFFEE.

There wasn’t a hole in the shipping bag, though. That means the hole was in the coffee bag before it was put into the shipping bag. Next time, I will order directly from Bones Coffee because they ship coffee well protected.

Unfortunately, this bag of coffee can’t be returned due to Amazon’s policy. I paid for a bag of undrinkable coffee.

I’m giving Bones Coffee 5 stars but Amazon shipping only gets 1 star.

Jackie: Ordered the caramel brownie flavor in whole bean but they sent ground instead. The ground version doesn't really taste as good as the whole bean plus its too fine of a ground for the cold brew method I use. Which is a shame because I do enjoy the coffee itself but it sucks when you get sent the wrong item. I will buy Bones Coffee again in the future and will hopefully get the correct order

JRS: I'm a bit ADHD when it comes to coffee - I have specific brands/types that I love, but tend to mix up what I drink as I get bored if I have the same type or flavor every day for months at a time without changing it up. Since I have the luxury of working from home, I get to choose what sort of coffee I have, and so like to go out of my usual stuff every so often to keep from that boredom.
Out of the normal roast styles, I am particularly drawn to medium and light roast, as dark roast presents itself to me as too bitter and is harsh on my stomach. Medium roast occasionally has that same issue, but will depend on the brand.
So, on to the actual review of Bones Coffee Pumpkin King Pumpkin Pecan Praline coffee! It's a medium roast, and is one of the medium roasts that aren't too bitter, so that's win #1 right there! When I opened the package containing this pack and another (I also got the Mudslide Boogie, which I haven't tried yet), the smell coming from the Amazon box it was in was amazing! Opened Pumpkin King to grind the beans, and the whole house smelled of pumpkin spice, pecans, and coffee, and it lingered for several house after grinding them. Win #2! I've had somewhere...

V: I'll preface this by saying that this is the only review that I have ever written for an Amazon purchase before (to date anyway). It's actually so good? I bought the Cookies 'n Dream flavor. The moment I opened the bag, I was so confused because I was not expecting the scent to be so accurate to the ice cream sandwich that it was based off of. Prepared my cup of coffee, had it with some oat milk, and it was at that moment that I knew... "Oh no... I think this coffee company got me—OH NO. MY WALLET." Accurately marketed as "the stuff of dreams." I fear for my starving art student budget as I see myself trying out all the other flavors in the near future...

Atl Canuck: I have never been a pure coffee drinker, even if I like my coffee black. I find most coffees hard and bitter, thus gravitate to the flavored coffees. This is a very nice, smooth coffee, strong but not harsh. Do think I will try this brand again.
