wobble: I had never even heard of this brand but I asked the people who would know best what brand is good - my sons daycare teacher! She straight up was like - Bogs, they’re waterproof, cozy on the inside and they’re easy to put on - a win win win, if you ask me! And she didn’t lie. If you’ve ever had to put clothes or shoes on a diaper well then you’ve lost years to just the sheer stress of bending down and the fighting and the “kick, baby, kick!” to get some damn shoes on. These are truly a god send bc of the Velcro in the back. Finally going to stop aging at lightspeed.

Leroy Jenkins: These little boots are really well made. They feel like solid neoprene and keep my little girls feet dry. She loves stomping around in them and couldn't be cuter. It is hard to find nice boots for kids +1Y but these fits really well. Slip on nice and easy and the velcro sticks nice and tight. Will most likely order another pair next year when they are too small.

Cris: In our house we only use barefoot shoes.
This is the first winter that our son can walk so we needed waterproof shoes.
Unfortunately the waterproof barefoot shoes that we tried were so stiff that our son couldn't walk or even stand properly with them on.
We then tried the baby bogs and even though the sole is not as flexible as summer barefoot shoes, the neoprene part is flexible enough to allow a toddler to walk without restrictions.
The holes on the side are also helpful to put them on and the Velcro allows you to get a better fit.
The only (huge) downside of the shoes are the holes in the back. That is soooo stupid. Like you can't use the shoes in the snow or if there is a bit more deep water from the rain on the floor because the feet will get wet, the hole is pretty low, right above the ankle.

Sophie H: These arent the cheapest boots but they are worth it! The sole is really flexible, a main selling point for us buying for a new walker. The inside lining is lovely and soft and the material is so flexible, it looks really comfy to walk in.
The velcro backs help tighten it round the leg, however the only downside is the boot edge comes down where the velcro is so compared to a traditional welly you can get wet feet in deep puddles but the material itself is definately waterproof

lalla: Die Stiefel an sich haben viele Vorteile:

+ sehen schön und hochwertig aus
+ sind sehr geräumig, auch für breite Kinderfüße
+ sind sehr flexibel, weich, sowohl Sohle als auch Schaft sind biegsam
+ daher bieten sie sehr guten Tragekomfort, das Kind kann sich frei bewegen, klettern, in die Hocke gehen etc.
+ sind sehr leicht, hängen nicht wie Klötze an den Füßen

Trotz all dieser tollen Eigenschaften kann ich nur 2 Sterne geben, DENN leider sind die Stiefel **nicht** wasserfest, auch wenn der Hersteller und viele der Rezensionen das glauben machen wollen. Der Hersteller hat sogar ein Marketingvideo, in dem die Stiefel in ein Aquarium voll Wasser gehalten werden und hinterher innen trotzdem noch trocken sind. Das ist wohl leider ein Fake, oder aber die sog. Wasserfestigkeit bezieht sich nur auf Feuchtigkeit-Kontakt von wenigen Sekunden...

hb: There are a lot of conflicting reviews about waterproofness so I thought I’d add my two cents. We got these boots for our 16 month old. We live in Seattle, and comfortable waterproof boots for a toddler are necessary. Add to that-kiddo has thick calves, so a lot of the high-knee boots just wouldnt even get on him without a lot of work and discomfort.

I LOVE LOVE these boots and more importantly, so does my kid. He squealed and pointed at them the whole first day we used them, probably because we finally found a comfortable pair. He can walk, climb, and “run” with ease.

As for “waterproof” - these are like neoprene material. They resist water for a LONG TIME but can get wet. To be clear, I’ve had him out walking in wet conditions with mud and puddles for two hours, and he comes back with dry feet. I’ve had him wade in the Puget Sound - dry feet. The two scenarios they soaked through were 1) when we got caught in a torrential rainstorm for 15 minutes continuously and were SOAKED by the end and 2) when he wades in the Puget Sound and gets far enough that the water comes in through the pull-holes located at the calf of the boot. Amazon Customer: I love these boots, I have them in several sizes for my children. I winced at the cost but they are totally worth it. I bought the first pair after my toddler came home sobbing from forest school in December...his feet were icy. Now we have these boots there are no complaints. They are toasty warm. I tend to buy them a size big in the autumn, then they wear them with two pairs of socks through the winter, down to one pair in the spring. They are also really easy to get onto chubby calves. And they are phenomenally lightweight compared to the neoprene lined normal wellies I have tried, and I think that really matters at this age.

They are not exactly the same as wellies though... they do get dirty and need the occasional trip through the washing machine (works well). Also, the ankle strap (which is a great feature for getting them on and off!) means there is a hole in the back just above ankle height, so these are not for splashing in really deep puddles. My children played in a flooded playground today and came home with wet feet.

But for very small children, I haven't found anything to beat them for general muddy play in the winter time.

Louise: Would give 5 stars easily except that we've only had these a few weeks, with a light-to-normal amount of wear, and the orange zig-zag stitching on both toes is fraying or already worn through. (I would dock to 2 or 3 stars because of this, but the pluses listed below make me still give 4.) It's not unstitched far enough yet for me to tell whether the seam will open or not (it seems like the stitching might be decorative and the seam may actually be held firmly together from the inside). I hope the stitching IS only decorative so the boots won't literally "fall apart at the seams" in another week or two!! The outer layer of fabric (with the truck print) is also starting to scuff through on one toe.

Otherwise, here are the pluses: 1) Can't believe they really keep the water out! He has been out plenty in snow in these, and I also watched in amazement as he stood/splashed in a puddle and the water beaded up and rolled off. Felt them inside later and seemed dry. These truly seem suitable for rain or snow and seem to keep him comfortable at around freezing temperature; it doesn't get much colder than that where we live. 2) A new walker can WALK in these (sole is not thick and...
