Jpena325: I purchased this based on great reviews and recommendations from other websites saying how great this camera is. Well I learned the absolute hard way. I did a few trial runs at home to see how it would do. Most of my recordings were under a min,30 seconds or so. Nothing long . When I pressed the button I was able to view the footage, right away I noticed the sound quality is pretty bad, muffled and if you talk loud it will sound very garbled. I still accepted this and decided that it worked well enough for me to do an inspection and record measurements and just record the general area. I walked up to the house and began recording. After about 6-10mins I heard a sound and then it turned off. I looked at the total storage space and it had gone down from 60 to 59-58gb. I continued to record I pressed the video button and continued on. The camera was red and the numbers kept on counting in red to signify that it’s recording. Well as I did this 3 times I wrapped up and started driving I decided to go and check the footage right on the camera. After loading itself for a good long while nothing showed up. It said no files. But the space on the camera had reached 57 gb so it recorded...

Jesse Vargas: Well worth the money. I do have to use the rest button every so often to get the video to download. I have tried to down load on different devices. Other than that the image is stable and the audio is decent. I use it everyday on the job and so far noajor issues.

Jennifer Black: It is very difficult to get this camera to start recording sometimes it takes a long key press sometimes it takes a short key press. I wish the audible tone alerting you to the fact that it started recording was a little louder. Sometimes I'm mashing the buttons they don't activate the desired function. I dropped this camera from a standing height on pavement and it skid across the pavement and received zero damage! It is definitely a well-built little camera and definitely works as advertised! I just wish the mashing of the buttons was a little better and responsive. Sometimes I don't realize if it even started recording or not and other times it's very hard to get it to stop recording.

Adrian: I’ve used a couple different body cameras in the past & this is definitely the best one. The picture quality is not as good as an iPhone would be (aside from night recording). I still highly recommend this product. Night vision kills the battery, but over all for the price of the camera I highly recommend

Ruhani: The media could not be loaded.  I took my new body cam on its first run. To be honest I wasn't sure if it was recording as after a few mins it looked like it was asleep.

I needn't have worried as it recorded the whole journey. I've set mine to record for 20 mins and after my first walk I re read the manual.

I now know the basics. To start the video recording hold video button for 3 seconds then press again to stop. These are then stored on the integrated tf card. Which is accessed by pressing the back button then will bring up picture, video, audio.

To set date etc when you press the menu use the arrow buttons to move up and down. There are 2 pages so keep scrolling to find The date, time etc.

The password is set as 000000 which once keyed in let's you change to your own passcode.

You can review footage on site but you can only delete etc via cable and computer this making safer and less likely to be tampered with!

There is a way to mark a video so it won't be overwritten once memory has been used. I haven't figured out yet how but it's in the instructions.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I was very pleased with the quality and speedy delivery. The camerea came almos fully charged. The Voice recording is clear, the video quality is HD and the snap shot feature is easy. I do like how the buttons for Video and Snapshot are on opposite ends. It makes for a quicker response. Have the capability to record just audio is as simple as its own button. I have not used it on Duty quite yet, but I plan to shortly.

The only downfall I see right now, is the placement of the Code 3 Feature. You have to hold down the "OK" button to activate the aduible alarm and Lights. If I am wearing this on my Tac Vest, and it is flush against my vest, I have to struggle to get my fingers behind the unit in a split making decision scenary. I t would be more user friendly to have that "emergency" button at the top of the camera or even on the face of the unit rather than behind it.

Overall, the camera gets the job done.

David J. HaywardDavid J. Hayward: Rather than just leave one of those reviews that gives five stars for turning up, or 1 star for not turning up (or even having a damaged box), i thought i would actually use this product and then leave a review.
So here goes.

I spent a lot of time looking for a helmet camera for when riding my motorcycle through the city as since the end of house arrest the standard of driving here in the UK seems even worse than normal now all those civil servants and office dwellers have to go back to work too.
After trying several cheap ones and them all failing after getting wet (despite allegedly being waterproof), or just keeling over after a week or two of use i thought i would start looking at body cameras. Didn't want a go pro as they are so expensive and bulky as helmet cameras.

I attach it to the chest strap of my backpack using the epaulette clip and it is quite secure, even at motorway speed, and has not shifted or even worked loose in the last 6-8 weeks.

The photos are of what comes in the box, a daylight screen grab, and a night time screen grab.
1 - I don't know why but it comes with a two pin plug adapter as it is sold in and for the UK, but it isn't...

Su-Shi: I've had this unit for about a week now, and already I'm reconsidering my purchase. Let's do the cons first.......

CONS
It's not easy to clip to anything. I've tried both clips, in different places, and nothing works for me. If I put it up at my shoulder, the unit aims the lens at the ground. If I clip it to my chest (I am female and not small chested) it points at the sky. I've tried walking just holding it using the large clip as a handle. It's ok that way but not ideal as I have a hand out of action the whole time I'm using it. It is also rather unstable. It's difficult to watch footage back without feeling sick, as it leaps around all over the place. There's obviously no stability system built in.
I then thought I would try to use it as a home security system. I sat it on a window sill pointing toward the path to my front door. It worked fabulously, but obviously it only records for about 5hrs before the battery dies. It also takes ages to download the footage recorded, so it's not suitable for that either. Although to be fair it is not advertised as suitable for that, I just thought I was being clever!

Amazon Customer: This is an excellent Bodycam for the first time user. The image quality is excellent, though as expected with digital video with fast moving objects, i.e. cars, the image does blur a little on the fast movement. You can make out all the little details quite easily. The sound quality is excellent too.
The battery on its first duration test, lasted 8 hours of continuously recording video (highest quality) from switch on, with screen off after 1 minute and not using the IR leds. I expect it will lengthen slightly as the battery is conditioned through use.
The 64Gb memory seems to record in excess of 8 hours, at the highest video quality, before it will then loop back and over-record earlier recordings. You can protect (lock) video files from being automatically overwritten by the device. They can still be deleted when plugged into the computer.
You can set the video recording file time from 3 minutes to 30 minutes, before a new record file is automatically started.
The manual is probably a little dated, as some of the functions are called slightly different things. However it's easy to work it out.
