Works and has decent range. The ring tones.... Only two tones sound like doorbells though. The rest I think 4 were christmas tunes, one happy birthday, a bunch of polka (YUCK), Beethoven, Mozart. Hey what could be a nice change? Have an optional USB port to customize the base unit for a verbal ring.(ex.. "Hello, someone is at the door") well it is an idea.

This doorbell is a GREAT deal! It functions perfectly, is versatile with MANY ring tones, and was an EASY install. I hope it lasts well, BUT for about $13 how can I go wrong!!! Very pleased!!

this wireless doorbell is really handy. It is compact and easy to use. There are two different ways to attach the doorbell to the wall and they come with clear instructions. You can use the all weather proof adhesive provided or use the proper wall mounts with the screws. There is even a screwdriver provided. You can never have enough extra tools laying around in your junk drawer. There are very detailed instructions on how to use it, but it is fairly simple. I went with the adhesive, and considering my two year old tried snatching it off the wall not three minutes after I put it on there, I am impressed. It stayed.There are only two buttons on the wall plug in. One is a simple sound adjustment button and can go quiet enough that I wont worry about my children waking up during nap time. There are 38 chimes to choose from. There are even some very popular culture songs in there as well. There were several classical and recognizable songs. There were the traditional rings for the doorbell as well, which is what I went with. Overall I am very pleased with this product.

Le volume ajustable du son est très pratique. Aussitôt connecté, aussitôt fonctionnel. Très facile à installer. Il ne me reste plus qu'à la visser sur la porte dehors. J'espère que ça va durer avec les températures du Québec. 16 mars: Fixer à l'extérieur et toujours fonctionnelle même à des températures hivernales de -20 à -30 degré (neige et pluie également). Très pratique j'adore!
