Lenn: durable, sturdy. Super easy to find from a distance.

d70sfan: If you're traveling, this is a great luggage tag to have. Large, rubberized, with a large red single letter easily visible from a fair distance. There's a decent-sized name/address/phone/email card held securely between the front/back of the tag, and it comes with very sturdy metal "tag holder" to help ensure the tag isn't easily removed. Well worth it, and virtually indestructible.

Harry Freedy: This is a heavy duty bag tag. The steel cable is much better than leather or plastic. The tag itself has a covered ID slot (will hold a business card). The large letter makes it easy to spot. I have several and highly w.

Anonymous FL: In early 2018, I bought 6 of the Shacke Initial luggage tags for myself and son in anticipation;ation of our trip to Europe.
After that trip, I've travelled to several times within the US (excepting COVID19-time), and these tags are quickly spotted, durable, easy to use, and handsome.
I think, reviewers who had trouble with the attachment wire and the screw-on lock must have been impatient attaching the tags to their bags.
If care isn't taken, the lock may not be screwed-in correctly or enough.
I like mine and I DO RECOMMEND THEM.
IN LATE JULY'23, I PURCHASED 3 MORE TAGS. ONE FOR MY GOLF BAG AND TWO IN CASE I MIGHT NEED THEM FOR SOMETHING ELSE (e.g., gym bag).

Janet A: Ask me in five years how the tags are travelling. So far ...
Here's what I like: it looks smart and is a water resistant fairly durable material. I can't assess either of those until I've actually put the tags through their paces over a few years. It was easy to open the flap, remove the ID card, complete it and put it back in the tag. The stainless steel attachment cable is great security and durability.
Here's what's not so good: the catch on the attachment cable was a little tricky (for my old hands) to close but I suspect it would be a bit too easy to open and remove or to fall off during baggage handling. The tab at the front of the tag that opens to reveal the ID falls open easily. It can't open fully but it's irritating. I think I'll deploy a tiny cable tie to fix it in place. Water will get in to the cardboard ID card and blotch the ink so I'll get that laminated as a precaution.

Craig Miller: I've had the product for a few months now. Travel all the time. This is well worth the money. I've had metal tags and they all bend and warp. I wish I would have found this a long time ago. Also helps to quickly distinguish your bag on the turnstile.
