Beth S.: This can is holding up well so far. No rust and I have it outside on the uncovered patio. Love that is has a tight fitting lid that keeps the flies away. I have a Pomeranian and this is the perfect size to hold a weeks worth of poop bags!

lawrence rueter: My little trashcan came quickly and in perfect condition. It’s packaged pretty good with heavy styrofoam at top and bottom and it was shipped in a box within a box. I read a lot of reviews from the folks using it for dog poop and that’s why I got it. It’s PERFECT for that! A plastic grocery bag fits perfectly inside and I deposit a week’s worth of bagged dog poop from two Yorkies. All I do is press down on the foot pedal to open the lid and drop the poop in. No smell either and I keep it in the garage. Then at the end of the week I take out the inside hard liner that comes with a handle and pull the plastic grocery bag out, tie the end in a knot and dump it in the big trash can.

MindiMindi: I got this to use to put my poop bags in from my 4 year old husky. I was just putting them into the big garbage outside but the smell was horrendous and the flies got sooo bad. So I researched a bunch of these cans. I decided on this one and I also ordered one of those things you stuck under the lid to help keep out the smell and so it didn’t attract flies (total mind blank on the name of it). This setup has worked perfectly! The only Downside- It’s a little small so if you have multiple dogs or a dog that has big poops you will need 2 of them. But it works for me and my dog! So happy I made the private purchase!

Arline K.: I've only had this for 2 weeks and so far it's good. It came with a lot of "spots" on the lid (not removable, in the actual finish of the galvanized metal), but it goes outside, so I accepted it. I use a a narrow-width, long-handled shovel to put droppings into it (I use plastic grocery bag inside the "can") for my 18# dog. Holds plenty (omg) bef. I have to empty it. Only time will tell how long it lasts in the elements. I DO think the price is too high compared to real-sized step on trash can for a similar price or even less. But, the step opener continues to work, so far. If I have a later problem, I WILL edit my review, bec. that's what I DO!!
