Dom: When I buy a $35 glass shelf, I don’t expect it to be perfect. I understand that most of these cheaper items will require some modifications to work correctly. I bought this with the expectations that I would be modifying it so it would fit my wall. However, this thing needed quite a few more modifications than normal. None of the shelves lined up with the brackets and had to re-drill three holes. None of the shelves were level with any of the other metal counterparts. Most of the other holes had to be in elongated and cut down to flush mount the screws again. Other than that, looks pretty good and it’s cheap.

Jessica KracoffJessica Kracoff: I had a hell of a time putting this together and getting it on the wall. You will need a second person to mount this. The instructions are not clear but just look at the pictures for the main construction. Hanging it up can’t be done solo as there is no structural integrity until you put the glass shelves in (which is the last step). Holding against the wall, marking your holes to drill, and keeping the shelf level simply can’t be done without a third hand. It took me 45 minutes to get this thing up (bringing in help while mounting) However it looks good and feels very sturdy. The towel bar is wide enough for two hand towels and the shelves are a great size for decorative items or TP. Also note that you will need skinny tools for this as the mounting screws all go into tight places. My drill, my pen, and the first screwdriver I tried wouldn’t fit.

Carla: This shelving unit looked so great and useful, on Amazon. I bought it to install on a bathroom wall, not in my shower. It's extremely HEAVY. Wanted to center under my makeup mirror, but that's means I WOULDN'T be screwing the shelves into the wood 2x4's in the wall. Four (4) anchors are included, to insert into the 1/4" holes we must drill into plasterboard followed by, of course, the provided screws. Just worried about the WEIGHT of the unit (over 5 lbs of glass), pulling out the wall screws and crashing down. Fine mess of shattered glass. So, I've decided to put a heavy duty layer of 2-sided Velcro tape, along the entire height of the two (2) wall mounted support rods. (This will cause the unit to stick out -- NOT be flush to the wall.) Obviously, I'll have to do careful measuring, beforehand. Step 1 ... HOLD unit in the place I want, on my wall. Step 2 ... Level it, OUTLINING IN PENCIL the entire unit, exactly where it's to be installed. Then, take my skinny pencil, and draw a circle in the four (4) sites that it'll be attached by the achors and screws. Step 3 ... Pound in the anchors, only. Step 4 ... Then, lay the UNOPENED Velco along the ENTIRE BACKS OF THE SUPPORT RODS, and...
