My son ran over a staple and punctured his tube. I needed a replacement, and this one was available with same day delivery. You pay a premium for self sealing tires that include some sealant liquid in them. The premium for these was lower than others while still being from a respected brand and what looks like a quality inner tube. Changing the tire was easy, and he was back in the saddle with 24 hours without having to visit a bike shop.

The valve stem is very low. I use an air compressor and a tire gauge on my bike tires. When I fill up these inner tubes, it proves difficult as the valve stem has to be held, and some force is required to make sufficient contact to fill. The same is true for tire gauge. Because of this, I blew a hole in one inner tube. Can not rely upon a tire gauge as the results are way off.
