Jackie: I have a 16 yr young Papillion, on the average+ side. He is a master of rejecting pills!! I still have to try several times. Not because the plunger isn't working, but because HE is so very clever. This way, I can save my fingers, which have R/A disease. Large enough to shoot straight down. If in cheek, he will spit it out. Very happy with purchase!

Greg S Koegel: Don’t waste your money on this. The plunger pushed off to the side of the capsule I used causing the capsule to get stuck every time. It was much easier using my fingers to give my dog her medication than using this pill gun.

Jennifer Parker: I have to say I’m a little disappointed. The pill dispenser is large. Too large for a kitty if you ask me. It doesn’t shoot the pill down their throat either. It just kind of drops it in their mouth. Might be great for dogs, but I do not recommend for cats.

Amazon Customer: I like the measurements on the syringe. It has an almost too tight of seal/suction, but I like the design. I think w/time it will be perfect for what I need. EDIT....the reason the seal/suction was too tight was because the little tiny rubber ring wasn't on properly. I was able to slip it back and it works better.

The pill popper, it is ok. The pill I have to give is very small so it doesn't work all that great. It is for a cat and I think it would work better for a dog and a larger pill.

I was really annoyed when the sticker was right on top of the instructions to use the pill popper.

So, other than the quirks it is a good item and I think people will find it helpful.
