Mindful Meditation: I did not have any issues with the split feet at the bottom, verses the two round pole (?) legs on the floor. The iron holder was a nice touch. Worth the price for the great reviews.

LGRW: I do very little ironing, but hate the "do it on a mat on your dryer" action. The center iron height adjustment
lever is very tin and can bend. But, easy to unbend. All in all, it provides exactly what I need in a lightweight form

Jordan: For the price I thought it would be better but its ok,the iron holder was a bit too awkward and it's really flimsy the legs are really thin so it tips over easy I knocked it over and cracked my new iron because it was in that wierd iron holder that didn't really hold it

geistghost: I was a little shocked at how thin and lightweight the box was when it arrived. When I opened the box I found that the ironing board was sturdy and well made. One reviewer stated that the surface was made of wood that warped from steam heat.... this was definitely NOT my experience. I checked the surface and found that it was a sturdy mesh steel as advertised. Someone else complained that the pad was thin; again, NOT what I found.... it is thick but firm and makes ironing a pleasure! I've never had an iron rest before and love being able to place the iron off the ironing board when arranging a garment on the board. This ironing board is a bit smaller than my old one but with the iron rest I actually seem to have even MORE space that's actually usable.... I love it! I HIGHLY recommend this ironing board, I don't have a single complaint!

Cipher469: My heavy metal ironing board of many years finally gave up the ghost. It got harder and harder to unfold/fold, finally getting stuck in the open position. That made it difficult to store in a closet. On to Amazon to search for a replacement. This one appeared to be a good buy, so it went into the cart. When it arrived in its shipping box, I was surprised as how light it appeared to be. Out of the box, it was much smaller and lighter than the older one. That had me wondering how sturdy it is. First, it fit into the closet storage space with room to spare. Great!
Using it for the first time was an excellent experience. Unfolding/folding was a snap! The mechanism is very easy to use; and, as you unfold, there are several choices in height. Fully open, it comes up to my waist, making for a comfortable ironing position. It is built sturdy enough to alleviate any concern that it might easily tip over in use. The iron holder on the end is something new to me. I am used to standing the iron when not in use and, so far, I still do. I'll likely get around to using the holder, because by doing so I remove any opportunity of touching the very hot ironing face. In addition, the included...
