LPGLPG: Compré este libro para mi hija de 8 años, le encantan los libros de Junie B. Jones porque son muy divertidos. Se ha leído toda la colección en español.

Está edición en inglés es bastante básica, es un libro pequeño (13 x 19,5 cm) , finito, tapa blanda, 69 páginas, letra de imprenta pero grande cita y la calidad de las páginas algo justita ya que son bastante finas e incluso se transparentan, aunque no es un problema tampoco.

Contiene algunos dibujos, en blanco y negro y es bastante fácil de leer y muy entretenido. Yo me lo he leído en un ratillo.

Esta historia va de que Junie cree que debajo de su cama hay un monstruo aunque no lo pueda ver y como siempre, tiene ocurrencias muy divertidas.

El precio de la contraportada es de 5 dólares, ya que la edición es bastante básica, pero desde mi punto de vista recomendable.

Frances H. Foster: So, as an elementary school teacher I have read some reviews which say the JBJ books are not funny and are rude. Well, it is important to explain to children that Junie B. hasn't learned total correct behavior and that she is still learning. With that being said, I have loved this series since day one and my students love to hear me read these books to them. When there is a part that I think is a little rude, I stop and say "of course, WE wouldn't say this or act in this manner. There are always consequences to Junie's "bad behavior" and I think it is a learning tool for children, plus this series is just plain fun to read out loud.

Angel Sullivan: My 6 year old and I have been reading these books, Many people criticize for the Grammar but the character is in kindergarten, and these are her wacky and zany stories. My Daughter laughs and can't wait to find out what shenanigans she will get into next!

Heartfeather: Bought for our 4 year old granddaughter. This is her first chapter book. Read a chapter every night before bed. Also, first time to use a book marker. Made her feel like a big girl. She loves this feisty little girl, who is in kindergarten.

ethomas3281: My daughter is 6 and we didn't start to read Junie B. Jones books until this year because I was worried that she wasn't mature enough. Some of the books are quite amusing, but they are not appropriate for every child, nor are they appropriate for every age. These are not books I would recommend having your child read on his own for several reasons. First, Junie uses words like "stupid", "dumb" and "crybaby" and when I read the books I simply omit these words. My daughter likes to follow along when I read, so I have told her that Junie B. uses some words that I am not comfortable reading to her. Second, some of what happens in the books is presented as silly or cute, but is actually rude or mean. I like to read the books with her so we can discuss the "silly" behaviors and whether or not they are appropriate behaviors. Third, I like to correct the grammatical errors. I realize that a 5 year old is the narrator of the books, but I'd rather read "ran" than "runned."
Having said all this, however, the plot is decent and the stories are cute. I probably won't be reading any of the books past 1st grade, however, as I have been told by several people that Junie B.'s antics escalate as...
