Zachary: This is one of my favorite hiking/backpacking meals. It takes a lot like instant potatoes from the box (or KFC), but with some gravy and meat mixed in. I love nearly all things potatoes and this is no exception. Keep in mind this is a just add water meal, so if you've never had a MRE or other dehydrated meal then this isn't going to be amazing. If you eaten one then you'll appreciate the flavor.

Word of warning... I would split this with some one else, and eat along with something solid. I ate just one of these bags to myself for dinner one night 2 days into a 4 day backpacking trip and my stomach and lower digestive tract were very active the next morning. I would and have eaten one of these meals since.

peacemaker: It was really good!!! I didn't think I could do 2.5 servings by myself, but I actually wanted more after.. Only down was it was too salty. I am not complaining because I love the taste of salt, but healthwise, I suffer when I am hiking and get too much salt in me.

Michael Piston: I gotta say, this is a bit disappointing. The flavor is probably better than you expect for having a shelf-life of something like seven years but it's just not enough food for what you're doing. If you're putting this in you pack and expecting it to send you to the sack full and happy after a day of hiking (or even just camping, really), it's seriously not enough. All of their other flavors/products are gangbusters (that I've tried), so this one being just alright was a let down.

Ammo68: Merry Christmas ! Ok ...sort of a long story how I ended up eating these in a interesting environment but let's just say they were some of the best for a remote Christmas dinner !!!!
I did not use all the water they suggested and probably should have . They were really thick and good

Know ....with that said this is MRE / back packers / fields OPS / food

Most folks are home enjoying a wonderful dinner !

These tastes great and it make Christmas dinner with my group all the better

Buy some for a rainy day and hopefully it never arrives for you
