Gammen: Every person reacts differently to eczema treatment it seems. What works for my husband is not necessarily what works for our children.

I tried this for our 18 month old and after the first application his skin was smooth and comfy feeling. We put it on immediately after bath time and it seems to be doing a great job so far. I'd like to have a vat of it. I like that it is very effective does not include steroids, in fact it works, maybe, even better for our son.

Everyone's body chemistry is different but I would say if you're having a hard time with eczema with your child, try this consistently after bathing them.

raulah: Love this cream. My little girl has sensitive skin and this helps to keep it from flaring up. Her skin feels nice and soft and I like the scent of this lotion. It smells slightly like chocolate, I assume from the cocoa butter. Great product! I have ordered this serveral times now and my only complaint is the packaging. I did have to get a replacement on one order because I received the package (large envelope) torn open and the item missing. I would give the product itself 5 stars, but downgraded rating overall due to the package issue.

MonochrmeDelirious: Yes, you will pay a little more for this than say Johnson & Johnson or even Aveeno, but if your child has eczema or severely dry skin it is worth every penny! My 9 month old had really bad scaly dry patches on his arms and legs and I tried a plethora of products before finding this winner. As soon as I put it on his skin I knew it was better than anything else I had tried. The morning after the night I put it on him so much of the dryness was gone. I now use it also as I have extremely dry hands. Don't waste your time with any other product for dry skin! It is very thick and takes a little extra rubbing to get it all soaked in. It is so much better than Aveeno's Eczema cream. I found a small tube of it at Target for 4.99 but the first time I used it I knew I would want the big tube! Better value too!

TheTJ: Our Pediatrician has initially diagnosed our baby as having baby-acne and that it would clear up in a week or 2, but it didn't. We thought that it could be eczema and decided to try an eczema cream. We initially bought this at a nation-wide retail store that has since stopped selling this size. I can only guess it's because they have a better profit margin with the smaller size, however that is not the point of this review.
Within a day of applying the cream, our baby's eczema was greatly reduced. In less than a week, it was completely gone! We continue to apply this cream even though the eczema is gone because it gives him really soft smooth skin!
We went to a friend's house, whose baby son had eczema as well. We had our cream with us and let her use it on her son and within an hour, you could see that his skin was less red and irritated.
If you're skeptical of this product, try the smaller size which you can get at just about any store. Once you see it work, come back to Amazon and buy this larger size if the store doesn't have it. You won't be sorry!
