Sudie76: I purchased both flat and curved versions of these carving discs — yes they can be tough to handle sometimes, but if you are looking to remove material quickly, these are great solution — I use them to remove high points on slabs that were rough cut using a chainsaw (as I do not have a slab mill) — once I get the slabs to a reasonably level profile then I can use my router sled to to get an even surface — very happy with my purchase.
