Ren Florence: They aren't super strong or reinforced and they're kind of dusty, meaning tape isn't fond of sticking so you'll need to use a lot.
But they're as described and suit my purposes.
They come decently packaged as flat boxes wrapped in plastic and secured with plastic straps.

Amazon Customer: The size noted 20x20x4 is inside volume... BUT the shipping companies (USPS, UPS and FedEx) all have a price point at 20x20x4 as the outside dimensions. Every time I ship using these boxes I have to argue with the counter person and point to the stamp on the box. So far they have given in and shipped it at the under $20 per box rate. But first they quote they give me is $60+ for an 'oversized' box and 10 days shipping time. I have shipped 4 of these boxes from NY to CA for $19 each, and they arrive in 3 days... but I think my 'luck' is going to run out, they are getting use to me. So, I have been cutting the corners back a 1/4" (and removing a 1/4" from each of the flaps,) and folding the boxes tight so as to be under the 20x20x4 on the outside dimensions. Still a very good box, almost the perfect [max] size. Just wished they made the box 20x20x4 on the outside.
