mserc50: This is a no brainer if you use a lot of spinach in your cooking or smoothies. Always ready to use and no going to a bag of fresh to find it turning into inedible. Takes no time to re-hydrate in whatever you are combining it with, be it eggs to cook or smoothies or even soup. Broccoli and spinach is my favorite! Plus it keeps as long as you need but you will be using it often. Great healthy alternative.

John Smith: Bought for long term food storage to have variety. I will let you know how it tastes in 10 years or after the next emergency.

Cindi Van Kirk: As with all spinach, it cooks down to about a quarter of what you put in, and the same thing happens with fresh spinach. I use a little extra with this because it is cut small but it actually has great color and spinach taste when I add it to my soups. I recommend it.

Oldmammacat: It's great for what I use it for, and lasts forever. It has very good flavor. The only issue I have is that I have to kind of sift through it to take out the woody stems.

S. Allen: Bought a can a few months ago and just opened it couple days ago because they had it at a very good price now ($12.10) and I wanted to make sure it was good before buying any more. I just bought 3 more cans today.
Its quite good, can was pretty full about 1" from the top, took 3 pinches and put into a 1/2 cup of water with a pinch of salt and put in microwave for 90 seconds and viola perfectly good chopped spinach perfectly re-hydrated instantly, so will work fine in soups, in rice, in Lasagna and I just added the re-hydrated in microwave to my egg white omelette past couple days.
There is a spicy sweet potato peanut African stew that uses lots of spinach this would be great for also.
Overall especially for $12 and a 25 year shelf life I have no complaints.
I will be opening these cans pretty regularly though as this is going to be my go to for spinach because its so easy and always there not going bad. I am going to add a handful in my rice tonight for a stir fry..
Regular fresh spinach is like $2.50 for a small little bundle, theres easily $12 of spinach in this can.
