Anderson Farm: There was a good lot in the box but some was basically duplicates or cheap gum. Got it as a gift for my niece. The sizes were all different so nice variety there.

Some flavours were crazy like fish or squid so make sure the receiver isn't picky.

Dan Potter: this was my second order of this same product. this time there was 18 different chewing gum selections. on the first there was a lot less.

Kevin J. Barth: Dagashi packs are, by the very nature, a crapshoot. You never know exactly what you're going to get, and sometimes you're going to be happy while at other times you might be a bit disappointed. This package had a little of both.

First of all, don't trust the content list that the vendor provides or the picture. Neither one was even close to accurate in terms of what I received. I've never before ordered a dagashi box that had NO UMAIBO. Usually the problem is exactly the opposite with unscrupulous vendors using the inexpensive corn snack to make up the Lion's share of their boxes. Umaibo are ubiquitous, and to see a box where they are completely absent is a shock, to say the least. In fact, this package had a distinct shortage of savory dagashi in general, leaning heavily toward the sweet side. There was no Baby Star, no Potato Fry, and the list goes on!

In addition, the packaging left a lot to be desired. It is pictured by the vendor in a box, but it arrived in a plastic bag which did nothing to protect the more fragile items inside. Again, not the end of the world. It all tasted the same. But I was left with the sense of getting factory rejects and damaged goods,...

VPMVPM: It's a nice mix of small snacks and candies, and I counted 97 though I think that may have to do with there being a few more individual small candies and gums than would be expected (the four single butterscotches were kind of disappointing, because while I like butterscotch it's tiny and pretty standard for American candy, so you can get a full bag at the dollar store). The mix is different from the pictures and list in the listing, but that was expected (though I would have liked to get the fortune telling candies and young donuts). In general everything is in good condition (though I know there was a little heat exposure, presumably during shipping, since one of the gummy sodas melted and some the M&M-like chocolates sweated wax, but no big deal), and it looks like all the expiration dates are at least a few months out, so we have time to enjoy these at leisure.

As for taste, it's a real mixed bag of flavors. So far I've already tastes the light apple flavor of the konjac jelly sticks, the addictive salty-sweet processed seafood yaitara, the sweet skim milk-like hard milk candy, and the starchy melt-in-your-mouth ramune candies (I've had these before, I forgot the...
