Assorted Mediterranean Baklava by Alreef - 800g

Sami GSami G: These arrived next day with Prime. Item was packaged well and nothing was out of place. The item also had a plastic seal. I found them to be very small as you will see in the pics. They were fresh, texture firm with some crunch. I did not find them to be dry like others mentioned, I wouldn't have appreciated them being drenched in syrup and dripping all over the place. They had just enough syrup for moisture, very good flavor, I really enjoyed them. These make a perfect little gift. Price was a little high but not a deal breaker for me.

Jasper Stevens: Delicious! There was a little settling during shipping and some of the treats looked a little haggard from the jostling. Everything tasted great and this is a great sampler to try or to bring to a small party with friends.

LSUcoco: This is by far the best pre packaged baklava I’ve ever had. It’s so crunchy and delicious. Moreover, It’s also not too sweet. Although, none of the baklava were flavored with rose or orange water, so if that’s what you like look elsewhere. The packaging also isn’t the best so this probably wouldn’t be the best gift. But, I got it for myself so it was ok. Overall, this baklava is really good but has it’s flaws.

Thomas MorrowThomas Morrow: Product arrived in super hot July in southern U.S.. Overall pretty decent condition considering it came all the way from Jordan. It would have been better if the slots were properly filled. One slot was undeniably shorted. The others settled because they weren’t full. But, despite all this, this 800g baklava (May production in Jordan) is superior to the similarly priced 600g baklava (Feb. production in Turkey) packaged in a decorative tin. Both well within “best by” windows. It is crispier and just noticeably fresher tasting. This is now the baklava I order. I use the tins saved from other products to store this baklava in since the supplied package won’t keep it fresh after opening. Stuff the slots to 900g and package in a resealable tin so it can stay fresh at room temperature longer and charge a bit more $ and this would be the greatest.

BruvisBruvis: Arrived in great condition. Was worried about oppressive heat. Delivered this morning with the “Cigar Box” in an Amazon Box. Everything’s arrived in great shape. I immediately put the box of Baklava in the refrigerator to cool everything down even though it wasn’t hot, just warm. As good as original bought in Beirut? Extremely close! Buy it. Very enjoyable. Only negative was my little “pencil” looking ones slot was partially empty? Seemed odd but I’m still very happy with purchase.

Los dulces vienen totalmente frescos, una calidad suprema de los ingredientes y bella y lujosamente empacados. Lo recomiendo ampliamente! A mi papá le fascinaron. Los volveré a comprar!
