Amazon Customer: Would have got 5 stars, but the woodscrews that came with mounting plates were of poor quality (usual poor quality Chinese steel), so the half round screw heads broke off the screws. The woodscrews shown in the description are countersunk screws, not what was supplied. Be prepared and have 16 woodscrews available.

Heather Light: I recently bought an IKEA Kivik sectional and wanted to put taller feet on it to make it sit a little higher. The brackets that came with the feet were round and had too little clearance on the outer edge to secure the screws into the wood frame (because the holes IKEA drilled for their plastic feet were quite large), so I purchased these. They were extremely easy to install and the screws went into the wood easily enough with a screw driver without my having to pre-drill.

Kirk Broome: The description should not have 5/16” in it. The plate, stud, and insert have M8-1.25 threads. M8 thread and 5/16 threads are not interchangeable. The set looks to be good quality and the parts fit together.

m adrian: I have an antique chair that the kids jumped on and broke the legs. I bought replacement legs, but needed a sturdy way to attach them. I ordered these mounting plates and was happy to see that they were very sturdy. I was unhappy to find that the screws included to attach the plates to the chair were very soft metal and not only bent, but broke with any torque. I just used screws I had in my workshop, so it was not a huge deal for me, but if you don't have that option, you will definitely need to get stronger screws. Other than that, all the parts are there, plus some extras just in case. This is still a great product.
