From the first page I was instantly captivated by Anne’s character she was such a breath of fresh air; the illustrations are beautiful, warm and so inviting. I have never read the full ‘Anne of Green Gables’ novel but reading this graphic novel I now know for sure that it’s something I want to read. I loved Green Gables, Marilla and Matthew. Each aspect of this story had its own unique touch. It was fun to see Anne’s character growth as she went from a talkative orphaned girl with a wild imagination to a responsible and ambitious young lady who wanted to make others happy.

I bought this as a gift for my 8 and 11 year old cousins as I had finished watching the Anne with an E series and wanted them to be introduced to Anne's character too. They finished the book within a day's span of time! I hope you do the other books in the series as well. I would like them to follow with Anne through these illustrated books.

The original novel is as you know a children’s classic and the beautiful colour combination and excellent pictures make it a very good read. Highly recommend it.

Il libro graphic novel è stupendo e lo consiglio, è proprio fedele al libro originale, con molte chicche che per esempio nella serie tv non vi sono, 10/10. Senonchè. Il libro era GETTATO in uno scatolotto, senza un minimo di carta velina, plastica a bolle, imballaggio, NULLA, ed è arrivato in deplorevoli condizioni, ma lo tengo perchè di sì. Fate dei pacchi imballati per i libri, perchè da collezionista vorrei avere i libri a posto e belli, santa polenta! Imballateli un pochin!

Purchased for my 12-year-old daughter who was hesitant to dig into the L.M. Montgomery classic; beautiful book. I saw a review that said the book isn't a ton of images, but it really is a classic graphic novel - cover to cover with great images and short narrative - while staying true to Montgomery's iconic story. Highly recommend - a treasure for adults and children alike!
