But if you need to protect your boat from the elements while parked outside, it does a great job. unlike custom or manufacturers covers, you will not be able to travel with the cover on the boat. The material is too thin and weak to handle any undue stress. I have a 21 foot bullet XD and it covered my boat perfectly. I got the 23 to 24 foot version so I can cover the motor.

UCANTRUSTME: Okay so I haven't tried multiple covers and I can't say this is the BEST out there but first let me say that I am highly critical of the things I buy....especially on Amazon. I read all the description and a lot of reviews to try to determine if it really is as good as everyone may say. Quite a few times I receive a product and send it back because of one reason or another. This cover though, has EXCEEDED all my expectations!

I usually can find something negative about an item...some little thing I may dislike....something that doesn't work just right... something that doesn't fit or feel right. So when I leave reviews...I'm honest and say it as it is (no one has ever paid me for a review nor have I ever been sent anything free for a review). With that said, I love EVERYTHING about this cover.

Excellent quality and stitching. The cover is thick and durable. The straps are evenly placed along the sides and front and are very easy to use. CraftingSmallsCraftingSmalls: I purchased this for my 1987 Searay seville 17 to replace a heavy duty cover I had purchased a few years ago at Overton's. That cover was ruined when a tree branch fell on my boat. I didn't want to repurchase that same one at close to $350, plus a few weeks' wait because it was semi-custom. I ordered this thinking I'd give it a shot. I am VERY impressed at the quality and the fit. Had a heavy rain last night and the cover held up. Barely even puddled in the middle. Everything under was bone dry. It also comes with all of the quick release buckles for the tie downs which is something I had to purchase extra with the last cover. The quality is great and the fit is superb, really strong elastic hem makes for a secure hold even without the straps. The color I got is the black and it really looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend this item for your boat!

David L HallDavid L Hall: OMG! I am so lucky to find this boat cover. The price is excellent; because the quality is so good. The manufacturer used top quality materials and the craftsmanship is as good as any boat covers. I have been around boats my whole life. Protecting the boat from the elements is the number one precaution for all boat owners. Nothing is harder on a boat than the weather.

The very first thing that I noticed was the wonderful web storage bag it came in. Then the next and probably the best feature is the straps for this cover. These are not just rope and I did not even expect straps to come with it. The straps are plenty long enough for my 17' aluminum boat with a modified hull and a 25 hp motor on the back.

The cover is long enough to lap over my trolling motor, outboard motor and the front of my trailer. My boat is not a run-a-bout. It's a console so I was taking a chance the cover would not work. Well bless my soul, it's a beautiful fit, as you can plainly see in my photographs. Since I have a trolling motor on the front of my boat, I pointed out the contact points. AllenH: Overall a nice cover and a very good value. It fits well and looks great on the boat. If this was the first cover I had ever purchased I would give it five stars, but I'm comparing to the cover it is replacing, and there were a couple of items for which there is room for improvement:

- The cover is advertised as 600D weight, but is thinner than the one it replaced. It also has a vinyl or other backing that the original did not have. I don't think there's a weight heavier than 600D, so not sure if the original cover is over specification, or this one is under spec. However, the original cover was more expensive than this cover, and was 10 years ago or so.
- There's no gusset on the front of the cover to strengthen the cover. I see this as an issue for two reasons: 1) this is where the cover fits tightly over the marker light, which puts a lot of stress at this point. This is where the last cover wore out first, and it was gusseted with multiple layers at this point. 2), this is also the point that will get stress if transporting the boat with the cover on.
- The two straps in the back are different, and must be looped around the frame before...
