Dorthy GaleDorthy Gale: I just got these tonight and hung up some of my clothes on them. First thing I noticed is how little plastic packaging they used, only a few small thin stretchy plastic bands. I’m trying to reduce my plastic waste and I’m very happy with this. I decided to get metal hangers because I’m tired of buying plastic hangers that break.
They are a true yellow gold, looks very high end and very shiny, it makes me want to paint and decorate my closet. There are no sharp edges, nothing for my clothes to catch on. They are a standard size but much thinner, even thinner than plastic hangers. I’m probably going to replace all of my hangers with these so please don’t discontinue them.
Two cons: they are much heavier than plastic, which I expected. They much noisier than plastic. They sound like I have a wind chime in my closet.
They look incredibly durable. I put a lot of heavy items that would typically bend a plastic hanger but so far so good. If they sag or damage my clothes I will come back and change my rating.
