Vivian: The cotton is soft and breathable and softens over washes. I run them on the delicate cycle and dry on low. I've had no issue with the elastic. Colors do fade out overtime and the darker colors do bleed onto lighter fabric colors during first wash. The elastic is sturdy and not too tight or itchy against the skin. I also like that they do not have a fabric tag on the inside.

This is my second time purchasing the bikini cut style from Amazon basics after about two years from my last purchase of this style underwear. Quality has not changed. Fit wise I measure at about 36" around the largest part of my hips and 32" at the waist. Size medium fits well with no awards gaping or wrinkling of fabric at the waist, middle or legs wholes.

Jane M: With a few tweaks, these have become a favorite in the undies drawer. I usually wear a M which I ordered first. But the elastic around the waist (and some of the leg openings) seemed way too tight. I don’t have a flat or flabby belly - just in-between. So, I ordered a set in L. These are perfect, except a couple of the pairs have a bit too much elastic in the leg opening. This is NOT a deal breaker, and I do have pretty slim legs. This, I can fix on my sewing machine in a few minutes. But they wash and dry nicely with little to no shrinkage. The material is a good weight - not too thick or thin, and a soft cotton. I have worn cotton bikini undies from GAP for years, but they seem to want to roll down sometimes because of where they land on my abdomen. This won’t happen with these because there is just a scootch more height. I have donated the first set of M’s to a friend who also gave them RAVE reviews, and another friend has purchased them with “I love them!” comments. So, I highly recommend, but you may want to size up one size unless you enjoy the elastic very snug - which is obviously a personal choice either way. I’ll be getting more colors soon. DSM: Unfortunately, the value is not entirely there with these underwear, so I’m going back to the tried-and-true “cornucopia” brand for my cotton granny panties. Third time is not a charm here.

Pros and Cons:

I’ve purchased two packs of these underwear and am reasonably happy with the fit due to the stretch of the cotton blend material and thin elastic trim, which help prevent wedgies!

However, the downsides:

1. Several of the pair have had the elastic so frayed and come apart after a couple of washes, that I had to throw them out. And in the second order, a pair arrived with the elastic already completely frayed when I took them out of the packaging, so I immediately had to throw out brand new underwear that was useless.

2. These are advertised in the main item description as “Cotton”, but are actually a Cotton BLEND— *not* 100% cotton, which is what I was looking for in a “Cotton” panty. Women know that “Cotton” should MEAN only Cotton (and why we would look for 100% cotton!). The item description should more accurately reflect the product fibers.
