Muhammad Raafi: The media could not be loaded.  All things about this item ( fire screen) is good the weight, the sturdyness, the setting up and install,but, with flaws that I deem important. 1.the gap between the door closers are too wide 2. magnets aren't as strong as they should be for keeping doors from opening. Because of this I gave 4 out of 5 stars.

hawk41: This screen exceeded my expectations and I'm am hard to please. I always worry that a large product like this will arrive damaged or defective and then all the hassle involved with rectifying that.

This screen arrived in perfect condition. The packaging was very well done. My delivery drivers in my area are not gentle with items and the way this item was boxed was very good at mitigating damage.

Everything was aligned perfectly, the doors work great, the magnets are even heavier duty than I would have expected. The finish was perfect, there was no scratches and there was not a single dent in the screen. Again, I am super picky, and almost always find something that is wrong, but could not find a single issue.

The screen is very study as others are saying and it does not move, even when opening and closing the doors.

As with any product, some reviews have had issues, but it seems that with all the good reviews, those are isolated incidents, and the chances of receiving this product with no issues, is very likely, something I always try to gauge when ordering a product.

Jim: We have been thru one winter with this item and I am happy to say it stopped one burning log from rolling onto the floor. It is sturdy and heavy enough to do it's job. It also stopped all the sparks and pops from escaping. Sure there probably is a way for one to sneak out but so far this winter we could have a fire and it was easy to reload with more wood and no worries about burning down the house.

I bought this because I was tired of stickily begrudgingly sliding the dann screen back and forth. Our fireplace came with glass doors but what's a fire always behind glass. I like having the glass door for when I need to leave the room and this product for when I am relaxing on the couch.

I found that, as I had hoped, I can pick up this screen and set it aside. Load and start the fire with the glass mounted doors open. Leave the glass doors open and put the screen back with the glass doors out to the sides. I can enjoy the fire and when I need to put more wood on the fire I just open the screen doors and load up. I was afraid I was going to have to remove the installed glass doors but everything worked as I had hoped.

Somewhere Out ThereSomewhere Out There: Bought this for a prefab fireplace after the factory installed screen allowed popping embers to fly through and burn a rug and a futon more than ten feet away. I was looking for an inexpensive yet expedient solution, and this appears to be it.

Being a pre-fab fireplace, the place where the fire burns is raised up higher than the hearth, so I made sure this screen was wider and taller than the fireplace opening, and I left off the screen's rear legs. The front legs keep the screen from falling forward, while the screen's back rests against the metal frame of the fireplace. I may in time bolt the screen to the fireplace or use some other fastening solution to make it more steady. With about an inch overlap of screen over the fireplace frame on the sides, and several inches at the top, it seems steady enough to use as is.

Even the best oak firewood sometimes pops (I burn oak almost exclusively). Tried out the screen with a fire, and while there was some popping, nothing penetrated this screen's mesh screen.

I would have preferred a screen with more squarish features to sync better with my fireplace, but even with the rounded top, the screen looks okay resting...
