Aber die Funktion und Nützlichkeit wird sich erst beim ersten Gebrauch (neuer Ofen, noch nicht angeschlossen) im Herbst herausstellen. Es wird mir dann als Kinderschutzgitter dienen. Vorerst nur 4 Sterne.

Caz & Andy: We bought this to use a barrier between 2 rooms. Our kitchen has a wide archway into the dining room and we wanted to keep our dog out of the dining room at night as when she gets the occasional bad tummy she chooses to Pooh on the new carpet in the dining room. We didn’t want a permanent fixed gate, so this works perfectly to keep her in the kitchen which has tiled hard flooring and her sofa in the kitchen at night. Folds away nicely during the day.

Cependant, la finition dorée est ''cheap'' et n'est qu'un bout de ferraille coloré. La couleur tient dans le temps mais si vous chercher une grille massive qui fait son poids, ce n'est pas le cas ici. Du coup, 70€ pour ça, ça fait un peu cher...
En revanche, sa grande légèreté a l'avantage de ne représenter aucun danger en cas de chute sur un jeune enfant qui bouscule la grille.

RayeRaye: This fireplace screen is very pretty ! It is elegant and the gold trim really makes it stand out rather than being some screen that adds no beauty to the fireplace (or take away as my last one did) ! I was concerned that it would be not wide enough or tall enough but in fact it was more in height and width than my old one ! I was very surprised at how light weight it is. I once again was concerned that it could be something that fell easily . Then yesterday night my spouse called for me, saying a log had fell out and it was a good sized one too ! Now that happens only once or twice a year and its my fault for stacking logs too high but the screen held it perfect ! I will admit I said to myself, "well I do not have to worry about the screen moving if a log rolls out !" Before I bought this I looked at the other helpful reviews and I noticed that some of the best looking ones had the fireplace cleaning tools etc. with some gold color on it ! I thought that looked fabulous and I intend to do that myself. I am very impressed with the quality and the price this seller has for now my second item from them! I am hoping they too may carry some inexpensive fire tools (shovel-brush-poker...
