Jim L.: I use these in competitions and like them so much I have 3. They don't loosen up like so many I've had in the past. Very sturdy, with a large belt for wearing over a coat if you need to. When you first try to put shells in it, it's very tight. Use your fingers to open it up and work the first shell in. It will loosen up over time, but never so much that shells fall out. Very happy with this product!

John Wayne: A great ammo belt. I can't wait to use it hunting. Until then I will not be leaving it filled with ammo as not to damage the elastic. Holds ammo VERY tightly. Tabernac!

Devrick Cunningham: The shells are a bit tough to get in at first but I used it one season for waterfowl hunting and it's excellent now.

N8: Great value for under $8 (I bought this as an add on item for $8). Shells do fit snug as I've read in the other reviews, but you can shove them in and they wont fall out. I recommend this belt. I would buy a 2nd one at the original price of $8. I keep a shell in every other loop and use it as a bandoleer

Leo: I use it to go skeet shooting fairly often and it keep all the shells nice and snug. At first it will be hard to insert shells as the fabric is tough, but after a while it wears down just enough where it is no longer a problem and it is not too loose. certainly a go to item in my opinion if you are looking for a cheap shell carrier

AMP71: Received the shotgun shell belt yesterday; loaded it up last night; going shooting this weekend. The shells fit super snug! Alternating shells every other one and then in between seemed the easiest way to put them in. The buckle although plastic seems sturdy enough. You can wear it like a belt, it's big enough to go around even if you have on a heavy coat, but I think I will carry it more like a bandolier across the body like Poncho Villa...lol. With 25 extra shells combined with 5 on the buttstock shell holder, 6 on the side saddle, 5 in the mag and one in the chamber of my Mossberg Maverick 88 Security model 12 Gauge, that's 41 shells at your disposal in a hurry... pretty awesome! A solid product. The price was OK, getting it with free shipping and no tax sold me as opposed to buying it locally (Atwoods and Walmart carry them for $6.99 but with taxes). It took about 5 days to get it, which isn't bad considering it's Christmas time. It's a good product, functions as intended.

K. F.: This product does everything a more expensive version will do, and it is not cheaply made. The buckle may not be metal, but the plastic is very thick, and it would take a hammer to break it. It works great as a belt, and easily accommodates a holster or leg-drop holster due to the belt being quite stiff. However, I wear this as a bandolier, and I have no qualms about slinging this over the non-shooting shoulder as the shells stay right where they are needed. The fit for shells is tight enough that they are not going to fall out, ever, pointed down--this is preferable for tactical loading (leaving the gun pointed to fire, against the shoulder, trigger hand in place, loading with the other hand). The fit might be a bit looser on 20g, but this point would still hold true. For 12g, as another reviewer mentioned, the fits is so tight that you need to load the shells at first skipping pouches, and then filling in the gaps. Definitely a great item for dove as a belt, definitely a great item for tactical use if your primary is a shotgun. Drape it next to your home defense weapon, and you are truly a threat.

Commander Shepard: I bought this belt a couple of months ago for when I walk around my family's land out in the country. I have used it quite a few times, and it has performed quite well. The belt can be adjusted to fit perfectly and does not loosen on its own, and more importantly the 12-gauge shells stay securely in the belt, yet are easy to pull out when you need them. The only slight negative is the belt comes long enough to fit a silverback gorilla in a winter jacket. I had to cut off a full 18 inches (I'm fairly thin) from the belt and re-sew the end in order to keep from having a "tail" hanging off of the belt. This turned out to be a bit of a plus, though, because the extra belt I cut off was the perfect material for a custom sheath for my Leatherman 830039 New Wave Multitool with Leather/Nylon Combination Sheath . For less than $10, I don't think you could possibly do better than this belt. I would have happily paid twice as much for an item of this quality.

Bruce M.: When I first received the 12 gauge shot shell belt I adjusted the length and started filling it with 12 gauge 00 buckshot. I shortly there after thought I was going to send it back because it was very hard to get the shells in the loops but with a lot of effort I got them all to fit. It’s just part of a process you have to go through to break-in the belt. Now I like it quite a bit. I took off a star because I didn’t expect it be so hard to insert the first set of shells in the belt but after you do that it’s an overall pretty good belt. The following shells went in without any problem. Good luck!
